Threw a bucket of water over the patio as need to put another line of clothes out.

After that I'm getting the frozon hot water bottle out the fridge and going to lie down.

The house was really cool,kept appropriate windows shut to keep sun out etc,worked a treat. Dh came home opened everything up and now I am SO hot!! Going to have a cool shower and hair wash to try and cool down. We had 10 mins of rain,and now nothing

There was a huge crack of thunder here (just as I opened my kitchen window) and it scared the crap out of me. Unfortunately it hasn’t amounted to anything yet.

peridito I assume it's mandetory to attend as part of why she didn't go to prison - it's the only therapy on offer here and it was in paper she must do it. I assumed that's why.

I'm sorry you're suffering so much yourself ,it all sounds dire . Would a fan directed on your equipment keep it cool ? Assuming you could get one of course !

I'm hot and cross. The storm keeps starting and getting me hopeful then stopping. Baby wouldn't fucking go to sleep because he's too hot and I'm too fucking hot to want to stand there for an hour rocking him back and forth and shush-ing like a dickhead whilst he dribbles all over my shoulder and plasters his sweaty little body to mine for maximum heating power. None of it bloody works u til he decides he'll countenance sleeping anyway. Now he's asleep but shifting about and will no doubt be up approximately 20 gazillion times again tonight like he was last night before I brought him into bed with me, where he lay and kicked me happily in the stomach, pulled my hair and pinched my boobs between almost constant feeding. I just want some sleep, but I'm too hot to even contemplate getting into bed atm. I hate summer!! I've always disliked it but now, with a baby, I hate it more than I can possibly say. I'm at the point of wanting to cancel our upcoming holiday because I just can't bear the thought of a week in temperatures like this with a baby in tow. It's hell, all it means is no sleep, loads of grizzling and a massive amount of additional fuck about, and DS is a pretty happy baby normally.

Recommend placing a soaking wet towel on yourself

Toast. I hear you. I've got sweaty 2yr old laying on me. Keeps waking screaming. 6yr old also in here...and the bloody cat.

Well, a few piddling drops of rain here earlier, and back to hot, oppressive muggyness.

I'm absolutely dreading work tomorrow, mainly because I will have to be nice and patient and smiley.
What a strain that's going to be.
Also now have swollen, uncomfortable feet and aching legs.

Just eaten Carte Dor Arabicca Coffee ice cream to try and keep cool and i think ive eaten too much of it.

Sat on my balcony writing this. To add to current hell, WTAF are all the wasps coming from? I had all my windows open yesterday and had four dopey wasps buzzing round my flat. I managed to confine them to one room and went to bed. Now I can't open the windows again.

I ordered a portable air con unit not realising it was being shipped from China. It won't be here for another week so that's pointless.

I also have swollen feet. Combination of water retention from sitting and planter fascitis from shit but pretty sandals.

Yep Definately the heat I swore i wasnt going to have ice cream this summer but i just cracked. This fucking shit weather has broken me.

I'm up unable to sleep. My bed is a sweaty mess. If I had a swimming pool I'd sleep in it.

Just seen a few flashes of lightening but no real thunder as yet. It's been playing peek-a-boo all night. Little flash here, slight grumble there. Just thunder already!!
