I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

Everything else was new tonight and all went down really well! Gazpacho and cauliflower salad from the HFW Much More Veg book and the almond cake from Thug Kitchen

Just had half a small pot of Greek yoghurt topped up with raspberries and a sprinkling of granola for crunch! 2 cups of tea.

Yesterday I had :

2 weetabix with milk
Egg mayo sandwich
Pasta with aubergine and red pepper sauce

I’m calorie counting and that (plus 6 cups of tea) came in at just under 1200 cals.

I’ve started today off with weetabix again. Haven’t decided on the rest of the day yet.

Thanks, IJumpedAboardAPirateShip, they sound great. I think I may try them with broad beans instead of chickpeas as we’re currently inundated with them. That should make them really green!

Breakfast was Greek yoghurt with banana, blueberries and chopped nuts
Lunch will be a cheese and tomato sandwich, green salad, possibly some fruit
Dinner is going to be homemade breaded cod, chips and peas
Will have some dark chocolate in the evening

I'm trying to lose weight and have been doing well but fell off the wagon last week and was struggling to get back on so I'm having a week of being super strict then will return to a healthier way of eating.

Today
Breakfast, special k with milk & strawberries from the garden. Coffee

Lunch ham, rocket, cucumber sandwich. Mini bag of party rings.

Bowl of home made ice cream ( I've so many strawberries in the garden at the moment the ice cream maker doesn't stop)

Dinner will be take away pizza tonight from the local Italian. Think I will have the mushroom one

Breakfast - nectarine and raspberries

Lunch - small baked potato with tuna

Dinner - beef chilli with a small portion of brown rice. Homemade rhubarb icecream for dessert.

Snacks - kitkat and a gingernut

Breakfast - Beans on granary toast
Lunch - Fishfinger sandwiches
Snacks - 2 figrolls, some of DD’s quiche Lorraine ( actually quite a lot!)
Dinner - Will be southern fried coated chicken pieces with baby new potatoes & peas
Oh & some wine!

I'm craving all the crap in the world today, and not feeling very motivated, but must keep at it, I guess.

B: Greek yogurt and blueberries.
L: Supermarket sushi and a snack bowl of melon.
S: One square of dark chocolate.
D: Bowl of saag aloo.

I’m quite enjoying using this as a food diary!

B - muesli, flaxseed, kiwi, yoghurt
L - hummus and crudités
Snack - nectarine and grapes
D - tofu salad, coconut tart
And possibly a roll later on

I can't be bothered to cook and keep grabbing stuff. It's small portions but not the most nutritious.

Breakfast= A flat white at a coffee shop

Lunch= 1 slice left over pizza from last night & salad

Dinner is going to be mango & chilli chicken & halloumi veg skewers cooked on the bbq with cous cous and corn cobs. Few glasses of pink cava will be had too

A huge amount...
5 chock brazil nuts, a generous portion of apple crumble, a good size chunk of cheese, 6 small chocolates

one small burger, roast potatoes, lots of veg, shredded cheese, ketchup

Lots of tea, including with double cream

~15 cherries, ~6 tomatoes, 1 ickle tangerine, 2 raspberries, > 1/2 orange melon

onion bagel with lots of cream cheese

can of kidney beans with salsa & tortilla chips (lots)

possibly a banana

I'd cry myself to sleep if I ate as little as some of you report.

I guess I did about 2.5 hours of 'active minutes' too.

Breakfast: half a banana, a few chopped prunes, spoonful of granola, yogurt. Slice of toast and marmite. Black coffee, small glass pink grapefruit juice.

Lunch: ham sandwich, couple of slices of chorizo, five olives, half an apple.

Supper: Delia's roasted veg and couscous salad with harissa and feta.

Also one cappuccino, two cups of tea and one gingernut.

I'm trying to put on weight, and despite eating at least this much every day, I haven't gained an ounce Confused!

D: will be pork and apple sausages, cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes

Snacks will be fruit, will either have some chocolate or cheese and crackers this evening

B- carrot cake Blush but it was yum! Half an apple (DS tends not to finish apples so I finish his off)
L - omelette with 2 eggs, butter, mushrooms and peas randomly. A few maltesers
D - will be salmon with cream cheese sauce and green veg

B - 1 crumpet with butter

L - slice of quiche and side salad. Half a bag of cheese and onion crisps. Half a scone with clotted cream and jam.

D - sausage roll, chips and beans. Homemade bowl of rhubarb ice cream.

Snacks - bag of pic n mix at the cinema and 1 shortbread biscuit.

Not a healthy day and lots of sugar consumed but I’m fairly strict during the week

B - Green tea

Early AM - dh made a bacon butter

Lunch - green veg salad.
We’ve just had homemade vegetable pizza (cauliflower base) pizza and dirty fries (fries, Montgomery cheese sausage, jalapeños and spring onion)

Dinner - green veg smoothie

Tea -veg pizza (Cauliflower base) Tempura cauliflowers and broccoli nuggets, and prawns with homemade sweet n chilli sauce.
