I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

Feeling a bit pants today. Hormone-induced headache, and bit of a crap day at work.

B - muesli, kiwi, nectarine, yoghurt
S - a few nuts, apricots and a little bit of plain chocolate
L - Thai carrot and coconut soup
D - small portion smoked mackerel frittata with beetroot and apple salad, chopped tomato, cucumber and pak choi, salad leaf.
Now eating a few squares of milk chocolate.

Small bowl of museli for breakfast with a few nuts on top, OJ and coffee.

Cup of soup and an apple for lunch

Little chocolate mini roll and a little bit of rocky road (bloody staff room!) another coffee and two hot waters during the day.

Picked at leftover roasted courgette/feta/black olives while prepping dinner and have made halloumi stew for me and DH.

Have eaten far too much today, not like me but meh, was good yesterday and will be good again tomorrow!

Leftover chickpea, pea and potato curry with kale instead of rice
Shared a pack of crisps with a colleague
Bit of toast
Paella with artichoke, asparagus, sundried tomato and olive with tender stem on the side
Can’t woek out if that sounds like loads or not!

L- 1x gin & tonic

D- will be (dc are in bed so dh is cooking for me and him now) chunky chips, pesto topped chicken, broccoli, green beans.

Dessert, profiteroles

Bottle of champagne will be shared too

We are still on holiday.....

Two poached eggs and bacon for brunch.

Pumpkin seeds and laughing cow x 2 for a snack.

Salmon and broccoli for dinner.

Low carbing still going well! I’m trying to not eat breakfast and have brunch instead - I’m not actually hungry, but I’m a fiend for eating at set meal times!

9-10pm 3 tiny milky ways from a box of celebrations

It's days like this I hate my job, got there at 7am, left at 10pm, no time to eat.
Too late to eat anything now

awkwardsquad I have no idea how I survived. Yesterday was not the first time but it isn't a regular occurrence. And, yes, you correctly guessed what I do at work. Hopefully I will update the thread at the end of today with a long list of things I ate today, because I back at work tomorrow.

Breakfast - Greek yogurt with honey

Lunch - jalapeno cheesy things with skinny fries/chips

Dinner - roast gammon and mustard in some tiger baguette with salt and pepper crisps.

Snacks - 2 kinder cereal bars, a kinder thing from the fridge section, 5 chewits, a few little gyozas and a few coffees.

I feel sick if I’m being honest.
Used up what needed using and I almost wish I hadn’t.
Actually, I could have easily left out all the sweets and chocolate but It's more the volume of food I have eaten that has left me feeling ill I think. Maybe (probably) the quality too.
Anyhow, I hope to be healthier tomorrow.
