I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

breakfast: just coffee
lunch: cup of onion soup, chicken lettuce wrap with avocado.
Plum and apple
Dinner: pork chop, onions, potatoes, peas

Oh god a horrible day
Lunch was a quinoa, chickpea and tomato salad

Then I had 2 ginger nuts, 2 rich tea biscuits and THREE snickerdoodle cookies! Argh

Going out for sushi this evening and I’m stuffed

Porridge banana yoghurt
Small wrap with strips of dry fried marinated lamb salad tzatziki
Apple
Whole grapefruit
100g ham
2 apples
2 falafel balls
Water tea coffee diet lemonade to drink

Muesli with flaxseed, rhubarb and kefir yoghurt for breakfast
Watermelon for a snack
Leftover salads with some feta and walnuts for lunch
Three apricot and nut energy balls (like homemade Nakd bar) Shakshuka with chard and a roll for dinner
Slice of banana bread
Drank two cups of tea and loads of herb tea and some water.

Yesterday:
B: Shreddies with banana and blueberries
L: beans on toast, nectarine
D: chicken curry with rice and poppadoms
Snacks: boiled egg, 2 squares dark chocolate

Today will be:
B: porridge followed by a banana (already eaten)
L: chicken salad with olives, followed by a couple of crackers and cheese
D: spaghetti Bolognese with green veggies, greek yoghurt and strawberries for pudding

Any snacks will be fruit.

Yesterday was:

B: Protein shake (protein powder, banana and almond milk)
L: Vegan chilli, small amount of rice, salad, spoon of guacamole and sour cream, handful of nachos plus half a baked potato
D: chicken curry and ricd
S: Kallo rice cake with plain chocolate x 3

4 mile run to make up for big massive lunch and snacks.

Lunch - baked potato with tuna and a small feta salad
Dinner - prawn stir fry with noodles
Snacks - kitkat and muller corner yogurt. Oh and 1 fig roll biscuit

Porridge with banana and a coffee
2 slices toast, 1 marmite 1 peanut butter, peppers and hummus & yogurt
Melon slices (snack)
Creamy spinach & lemon salmon on sweet potato mash with broccoli & cauliflower Grin

B: One slice of white toast with butter, coffee.
L : Small portion of pasta with tomato sauce, few grapes, about 10 minstrels sweets.
D: Small portion of beef stew, extra veg, 2 slices of garlic bread

Breakfast was mushrooms sauteed with blue cheese, omelette, tinned tomatoes and wholemeal toast; then we had chocolate and tea.

Watermelon and nuts as snacks, tuna salad for late lunch.

I haven't eaten anything this evening yet as I have a sore stomach :(

Thai noodle soup and a buttered roll.
Black coffee and diet tonic water (not in one drink!).

Elevenses: chocolate ginger cookie
Lunch (mid afternoon just befor school run): bowl of Shreddies
Dinner: fajitas

Not the most wholesome I admit. I ran out of time for a nice healthy lunch. Must try harder tomorrow.

Toasted bagel with marmite
Coffee, banana, almond butter and date smoothie
Tortilla chips, salsa and guacamole
Crust of DS’s pizza

Trying not to eat until dinner which will be:
Cucumber and melon gazpacho
Pisatchio and herb falafel with grilled cauliflower, date and orange salad
Almond cake with poached peaches
(Friends coming over hence the mega effort!)

All likely to be washed down with a a glass or two of wine
