I love a food thread and normally pick up some new ideas as well Smile

Breakfast, poached eggs on toast. Lots of coffee

Lunch chicken salad & party rings with the dc

Dinner later will be sausage and butter bean stew & a bottle of red for me and dh

Dessert home made strawberry ice cream ( the ice cream maker has turned out to be a great buy)

Back to weekday work foods

B: Two coffees, porridge with berries when i get to work

Snack of pineapple chunks and cashew nuts

L: Chicken salad

D: Chicken stew

Snack for later is a bowl of red pepper soup possibly with a slice if bread

Brown rice with garlicky spinach and walnuts.
Pasta with smoked salmon, peas, lemon and creme fraiche.

Breakfast: toast with lashings of lemon curd.

Lunch: lidl mini frittata, salami sticks, packet of crisps and a chocolate bar.

Snack: brunch bar

I have various cereal bars to snack on all day, 22 weeks pregnant so I feel like ots justified!

Breakfast: bowl of muesli, two M&S frittata bites, glass of orange juice, cup of tea
Lunch: lentil salad with green lentils, beluga lentils, celery, radishes, red onion, feta cheese and lemony salad dressing. Two M&S stuffed vine leaves
Afternoon snack: apple, cup of tea
Dinner: not sure, but probably Egyptian cauliflower pan-fried in egg and flour and then cooked in a tomato sauce

Lunch - Pasta with tomato sauce

I’m doing a big race (last of the season) at the weekend so making the most of being able to eat whatever I like and immediately burning it off before I have to start being sensible again!

Breakfast - 5 hash browns.

Lunch - A toblerone.

Dinner - Will be halloumi fries with mint, pomegranate, chilli and sour cream.

Snacks - none yet but if I have anything it is likely to be a chopped apple with peanut butter and/or a handful of grapes.

Awful diet. Running everything down while fridge freezer is out of action and we wait for the new one!
Fridge part went first and now the freezer part is on its way out too!

Two boiled eggs and a cold coffee with almond milk.

I’m going low carb, I wouldn’t normally be starving myself (I am so hungry right now!) but I had to come into the office unexpectedly and forgot to bring any.

Dinner is going to be spicy beef mince with salad.

L - pitta bread with hummus and roast veg, apple, some mini Tuc biscuits
D - salmon, sweet potato wedges, peas.

L- banana

D- salad with feta, avocado, apple and Hullumi. A few spoonfuls of the dcs dinner- spag Bol. I really need to get out of this habit.
Strawberries, blueberries, cashews, honey with Greek yoghurt.

A genuine document of today’s erm.... excessive eating Grin I’m not going to categorise into any particular mealtimes because I’ve grazed like cattle. In no particular order:

3 ham and cheese toasties
A peperami
A dairylea dunker (jumbo tubes)
Half a cookie
Two packets of hula hoops (beef)
Two packets of mini cheddars
Two satsumas (to ward off scurvy)

Plan for later:
Camembert
Chorizo and red pepper in red wine
Peri peri chips
Ancient grain bloomer

Diet starts tomorrow Wink

I am a sahm mum, but normally I wouldn’t have time to do all this eating. I’ve also watched 4 episodes of sugar rush, 3 episodes of killing eve, caught up on the island AND caught up with master chef Australia.
Now I’m exhausted Grin

Dh was home and gave me a delicious day off (did school runs, housework, ironing, food shop) because I spent two weeks moving house whilst he was on a lads holiday. So more ‘SAH’ than ‘SAHM’ today

Trying to be good, go on holiday in a few weeks

B: Tea x2, banana and grapes

L: Tomato soup, sesame crispbreads, small yoghurt and an apple. Water

Mid afternoon snack: Tea and a chocolate ricecake

D: Omlette made with peppers, mushrooms and a sprinkle of cheese with some new potatoes. Bowl of strawberries

Will have another tea before bed

L- half a cheese salad sandwich, few black pepper crisps, few malteasers

D- is going to be home made lamb kebabs, pitta, salad, garlic sauce. Few glasses of fizz

I am in the Cotswold with dh & dc so just eating/drinking what ever I want as I always do on holiday

Small piece of olive ciabatta with tuna mayonnaise

Some white stringy cheese stuff that comes from the local Middle Eastern shop and tastes like even saltier halloumi

carrot sticks, peppers, radishes and cherry tomatoes

an apple

will be having homemade turkey meatballs, spaghetti and tomato/red pepper sauce for dinner

frozen berries and Skyr for dessert

Yesterday:
B: poached eggs on toast, small glass of juice, tea
L: cheese & crackers with chutney, olives, pistachios
Cup of tea with dark chocolate digestive
D: slow cooked pork shoulder, baked potatoes, Asian slaw and corn on the cob. Baked plums and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Today:
B: fresh fruit salad (apple, banana, fig and raspberries) with greek yoghurt and chopped nuts, 2 cups of tea
L: beans on toast, water, tea
D: macaroni cheese, green beans and roasted tomatoes, water

Got some dark chocolate earmarked for later

D - veggie cheeseburger (Anna Jones recipe) in homemade roll with beetroot and apple salad, salad leaf, cherry tomatoes and cucumber

S: Cashews, grapes, pineapple chunks, mandarin

D: Balsamic lamb chops with sweet potato fries, peas and corn

Breakfast - 2 slices of seeded toast and marmalade with coffee.

Lunch - macaroni cheese with salad and a slice of seeded bread and butter, 2 medjool dates and a small flapjack.

Dinner - mozzarella sticks and skinny fries/chips. Got a slice of cheesecake to have for dessert with coffee.

New fridge freezer arriving next week. Can’t wait!
