As an antidote to the irrational hatred thread Wink. I'll start.

Tins of Princes Tuna that are both drained, and have a funky pull lid (not metal) that made me kneel down and weep with joy.

When the cats are sleeping but wake up as I approach and do that sort of miaowing snuffly noise combined with a long stretchy tummy-up for scritches.

Buzz

You know I was going to put that. That was my first thought. Also:

A perfect ripe strawberry.

A shower when you feel really mingy and you come out of the bathroom feeling like a goddess. I don't run first, mind.

Putting my favourite dress on, which I can only wear on really hot days, so I wear it maybe a dozen times a year.

The family in the house backing on to mine had their paddling pool out last weekend and the sound they made brought back so many happy memories as they splashed about. Dad was joining in too and reminded me so much of my DDad when we were little - the conversation sounds the same, even in Polish.

Cracking thread.

Coffee when you first get up and its early and no one else is up yet. Even better if I can have it sat outside in my back yard.

margaritasbythesea · 07/07/2019 14:54

Tea and crumpets with loads of butter.

My new Wusthof kitchen knife. It cuts stuff really well. I cut a lot of stuff. No one understands the pleasure I get from it. I'm going to be buried with it.

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 07/07/2019 17:21

A new bar of soap. I actually get excited when it looks like my current bar is coming to an end.

I have no life.

OhioOhioOhio · 07/07/2019 17:27

Piping hot water.

Nonstopbuttmachine · 07/07/2019 17:34

My little tabby cat. He has the most beautiful markings, like someone has painted them on with a teeny tiny paint brush. I could just gaze at him for ever and marvel how amazing nature is.

AndromedaPerseus · 07/07/2019 17:36

Cats - all stress relieved after a cuddle and a chat with them

IhaveALooBrush · 07/07/2019 17:38

Apple turnovers
Still warm bread
Watching all the little birdies at my bird feeders, especially the parents showing the fledglings how it's done.
Finding a well fitting and comfortable bra. I'm still searching for that one actually.

JohnWolfenstein · 07/07/2019 17:42

Getting under the covers when the bedding is fresh.

BinkyRidesForth · 07/07/2019 17:43

BenWillbondsPants yes, ddog is also a lab, she has next level snuggling abilities and I have been known to liken her breathing to Darth Vader...

Also, I can’t believe I forgot stars! Could star gaze for HOURS especially if I’m on holiday and staying somewhere really dark Star

Raera · 07/07/2019 17:44

Puffins and the lovely noise they make.
I was so pleased when I found out that a baby puffin is called a puffling!

TroubleWithNargles · 07/07/2019 17:46

The toad that DH found in the garden early this morning. Really pleased to have him/her here to eat all the slugs Smile

Shockers · 07/07/2019 17:47

My dog’s eyes. They’re amber pools of love and loyalty.

OralBElectricToothbrush · 07/07/2019 17:48

Nice slippers.

littlewhitething · 07/07/2019 17:52

All of our cats. I love to see them stretched out sleeping, not a care in the world!

TrySinging · 07/07/2019 17:52

Raera I love that. I just said 'DH, guess what a baby puffin is called?'. He said 'Is it a puff?' and I love that even more!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/07/2019 17:53

Nice thread.

Sticking with 'tiny' things:

My I-phone - am a very recent convert and love it
Earl Grey teabags
Benefit Dandelion
Urban Decay individual eyeshadows, especially Smog and Mildew
Robins
Daisies
White Company battery operated tea lights
Sukin rosehip face oil
Portuguese custard tarts
Tunnocks snowballs
Blueberries and raspberries, especially if from M&S
Pistachio nuts
Ritter Sport chocolate bars

Damsel flies, beautiful emerald green, turquoise, orange, red. And our wee hedgehog visitor we see every night eating the food we leave for him. Both make me very happy 😊.

ElfrideSwancourt · 07/07/2019 18:05

My cat's extra-loud purr 😻

incogKNEEto · 07/07/2019 18:10

I love watching the sparrows come and have a bath in my pond waterfall Smile and the bees, butterflies, may flies and dragonflies all flying around doing their thing.

The first cup of coffee.

A new (from the library, so not new new, but new to me) book and the time to sit and read it.

My dc's faces when they get a certificate at school.

Watching the seasons and crops change in the fields and trees on our commute to school.

So many tiny things to be grateful for that all add a little something special to daily life Smile.

ittooshallpass · 07/07/2019 18:19

Listening to the rain pattering on my bedroom window while I'm snuggled in bed. Bliss.

pandora206 · 07/07/2019 18:19

The sky - the beauty of the colours, the cloud formations, storms, sunsets.....

Okay not that tiny but pretty amazing and free!

Snoodleberry · 07/07/2019 18:26

The arrival of the first swallows in summer ❤️
