As an antidote to the irrational hatred thread . I'll start.

Tins of Princes Tuna that are both drained, and have a funky pull lid (not metal) that made me kneel down and weep with joy.

madroid and Teacher22, if you Google Good Grips Lemon Zester, you'll find it - £3.99 on Amazon - I paid £7 locally! But obv. no postage.

Was brilliant at Christmas for Chr. puds - my recipe includes orange and lemon zest, ditto my mincemeat recipe..

It will also do long thin strips if you ever want those..

Finishing your last night duty and going home to bed whilst seeing everyone else going the other way .

Watching rehomed dog who’d never been off lead because she lived in a city , bounce her way through our field like a kangaroo and then collapse grinning at our feet , covered in green .

Cracking open a cold beer

• A lovely shell of a Madeleine cake eaten slowly with a cup of tea
• yes, bumble bees 🐝 drunkenly going from flower to flower
• the dark sweet king cherries available at the moment and the golden rainiers cherries
• the "large" sweet/tart raspberries with yoghurt for breakfast
• the small Pink Lady or Braeburn apples. Just big enough for a snack with almonds or almonds... 😄

Waking up at 6.00 am on a morning when I don't have to be up, especially on quiet, sunny summer mornings
Finding bargains at car boot sales
Getting nice new socks/pants when you have a few pairs that really need to be binned
I love thunderstorms and rain. It's lovely listening to the rain on a roof or windows when it's cosy indoors.
Fresh sheets on the bed, especially if the duvet set is new

The pill!

My 7 month old bursting out laughing when he sees his 2 year old brother.

My 2 year old coming over to give me a hug.

Tea and lemon drizzle cake and 10 mins alone to enjoy it.

Scented candles

Crisp autumn mornings

The sound of rain on the roof when you are tucked up in bed

The feeling of being freshly showered, clean pjs and clean sheets

When it's not my turn to do the school run. 🙂

Breathing in the fresh air on a crisp winter morning.
Line dried fresh bedding after a bath and shaved legs.
Smell of the side of a match box.
Cup of Yorkshire tea and cake.
Smell of Dd2 after she’s been playing outside
Dd2 sleeping
Dd1 coming and giving me a hug when she’s tired.
The smell of lemon zoflora in my kitchen when it’s clean.
DHs smell when he’s fresh out of the shower
New bar of soap is divine!
The morning smell after bonfire night

Getting a phone call to say you've got the job (as I did today. Yay!)

A cat at the rescue I volunteer at, who scratches everyone else, but nuzzles up to me like he can’t get close enough. I really want him, but we already have one that DH is allergic to. This is why I volunteer- to get extra cat fixes.
