We must all have one thing that we secretly treat ourselves too... or waste money on.... for many women it seems to be shoes or a nice handbag etc.
Me? I waste my money on flight upgrades

What about you?

Fab rooms and upgrades on cruise ships.

HollowTalk · 12/06/2019 16:32

Haagan Daz Peanut Butter ice-cream.

DonkeyHohtay · 12/06/2019 16:33

Knitting yarn. Although I would argue that it's not a waste as I make things from it and it gives me a lot of joy.

BillywilliamV · 12/06/2019 16:33

Take a Break Fate and Fortune...for Texas the Psychic Horse. He contacts people’s dead guinea pigs in the afterlife!

Queenoftheashes · 12/06/2019 16:33

cocaine

Shoxfordian · 12/06/2019 16:34

Covet game on the ipad
Mildly addicted
Complete waste of money

Queenoftheashes · 12/06/2019 16:35

or more seriously - expensive seats in the theatre. although not always a waste as i'm short.

LettuceP · 12/06/2019 16:35

Beauty products. Stuff for hair, skincare, makeup, body lotions, deodorants, body sprays etc etc. I probably use about 20% of the beauty products I own.

thebear1 · 12/06/2019 16:36

Buying my lunch, a small daily expense that adds up.

Queenofmyownheart · 12/06/2019 16:37

Make up and wine 🙈😂

BillywigSting · 12/06/2019 16:37

Coffee shop coffee and coloured pencils.

I have more coloured pencils than 5yo dsBlush

wigglybeezer · 12/06/2019 16:38

Every now and then I buy a painting, when I really should spend the money on more prosaic things.

AguerosAngel · 12/06/2019 16:42

Intensive hair masks (I go through loads), white vests and knickers (I then use them for nightwear when they start to even go slightly grey), books, Converse (bought a pair today so that’ll be 14 pairs now Blush), cheese, bedding!

itisalladream · 12/06/2019 16:44

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who buys stuff they don't need!
I was recently on a flight and got asked if I wanted to travel in business class for £400 and I though hey fuck it, why the hell not. Paid it and then felt enormous guilt Envy

Tiny, lovely, Scandi or handmade clothes for DS. He grows out of them so fast it's a total extravagance but it brings me genuine pleasure and I try to buy handmade clothes or from brands with decent eco credentials, so it's probably better for the world than my previous ASOS habit.

Chilledout11 · 12/06/2019 16:46

Acrylic nails

WonkyDonk87 · 12/06/2019 16:51

It used to be face masks and double deckers... but DH has just been demoted to the tune of £10,000 less a year. Now it'll be the square root of fuck all!

kiki22 · 12/06/2019 16:53

Real butter

badguys · 12/06/2019 16:55

Plants.

badguys · 12/06/2019 16:56

I text DH from the garden centre car park to tell him I bought a coffee and a bag of compost, whilst simultaneously loading up four rhododendrons into the boot.

pheonixrebirth · 12/06/2019 16:57

Onuga herring roe 😋
It's basically fake caviar. I got some when I did a little party once to make some fancy smoked salmon canapés. It was just so good that I buy a couple of jars and hide them in the veg drawer of the fridge - and when I get a moment to myself I eat it straight out of the jar!

BearSoFair · 12/06/2019 16:57

Socks. No one needs as many socks as I have, but if I see a nice pair I just can't resist buying them. I have almost 2 drawers full Blush and I never seem to throw any out!

Otterses · 12/06/2019 16:59

Weird house plants.

It's now extended to weird outdoor plants ... DH laments as to why I can't grow 'normal' strawberries or maybe a carrot Grin

Wheresmrlion · 12/06/2019 16:59

Beauty products, definitely. Books for my dc, I always think it’s only a fiver. Plants for the garden.

A few times a year I’ll splurge £30 on scratch cards and keep spending the winnings until it’s all gone.

EssentialHummus · 12/06/2019 17:01

The garden. I think I could have basically gotten a professional landscaper in for the amount I’ve spent so far, except I’m doing it in £20 increments from b&q, and every other thing dies or gets dug up by foxes.
