We must all have one thing that we secretly treat ourselves too... or waste money on.... for many women it seems to be shoes or a nice handbag etc.
Me? I waste my money on flight upgrades

What about you?

Ivegotthree · 12/06/2019 17:34

ilovecatsabittoomuch · 12/06/2019 17:49

Earthboundmisfit79 · 12/06/2019 17:55

Boots to protect my horse's legs, he has four legs and can wear a maximum of 6 boots at any one time. I have just bought another set. Have around 10 sets.
In fact horses in general. He has the best, I walk round in rags 🤔. He's worth it though 😃

Snog · 12/06/2019 18:09

@Youmadorwhat my goodness is your bathroom for real or from an advert for the perfect bathroom?

BentNeckLady · 12/06/2019 18:16

Plants. I buy a lot of plants and leave them in my car until dh isn’t looking. Sometimes most of the time I get home and wonder where the fuck I’m going to plant them!

managedmis · 12/06/2019 18:17

Cheap disposable clothing

bengalcat · 12/06/2019 18:19

Flying biz and regular blow dries

EnidButton · 12/06/2019 18:19

Flowers. I'd give Elton a run for his money.
Beauty products. I seem to be preferring more and more expensive stuff as I get older and I don't need any of it.
Chocolate. Those fancy dark bars.
Nail polish. I have two favourites that I wear. One in the darker months and one in Summer. And yet I can't resist another bottle.

None of its secret though and I don't feel bad. The only things that sometimes make me feel slightly guilty are some of the beauty products. But it doesn't last long. Also I know chocolate makes some symptoms of my illness flare up so I should avoid but some days you just think fuck it.

Drogosnextwife · 12/06/2019 18:19

Nova lashes. Compete waste of money but I love them.

EnidButton · 12/06/2019 18:19

Oh and notebooks. I have a drawer for them ffs. There's no need.

lastqueenofscotland · 12/06/2019 18:22

Tickets to punk gigs
Band T-shirts

I’m too old for it.

user27495824 · 12/06/2019 18:22

Mine is definitely kids clothes too, at least the expensive ones I like are ethical. Way more than they need and all for my pleasure.

Owlish · 12/06/2019 18:24

Seeds and plants.

Youmadorwhat · 12/06/2019 18:25

@Snog all real, it’s a happy place for me! 🤣

What is your secret that you waste money on?
MaMisled · 12/06/2019 18:25

Coffee. The more it costs the better.

WellTidy · 12/06/2019 18:26

I run the tumble dryer for pretty much every thing that is able to go in it. I have cut down a lot since I became more aware of the environmental impact, but I still use it too much, especially as we have three clothes horses and a laundry room to dry them in, out of the way

Candles

Make up, especially primers and lipsticks

Skincare especially the £10 pixi bottles of toner type stuff (see, I don’t even know what the products are)

Bath and body products especially body moisturiser, I have enough for about three years of whole body three times a week application

Pyjamas

Perfume

A stash of chocolate

Clothes that fit my ever expanding frame, rather than just losing a stone and a half so that my previous clothes actually fit again

None of these are secret though

Pinkarsedfly · 12/06/2019 18:26

Scented candles
Perfume
Clothes
Plants
Seeds
Books

WellTidy · 12/06/2019 18:27

Plants for the garden too. In a very big way. Twelve salvia, five cranesbill geraniums and a hydrangea already this week.

Fucktuates · 12/06/2019 18:27

Foooooood

Guylian2019 · 12/06/2019 18:28

Takeaways, eating out, posh hotel rooms. Huge amounts of things for my class.

BlackPrism · 12/06/2019 18:29

Iced coffee. I have an addiction to iced americanos and my office won't buy me an ice machine despite my repeated asking.

Magmatic80 · 12/06/2019 18:29

Amazing chutney that’s £4/jar. I always think I only have it at Christmas, but in reality I always have some on the go.
