I know this has been done to death and not trying to offend anyone so please don’t post if you don’t want to share: what is your height and weight? And most importantly, how do you FEEL about it?

I’ve posted this recently but to start I’m 5ft5 and around 9- 9 1/2 stone. I feel wobbly as ‘mummsy’ and under-confident 🥺

5'8", about 14st, about 2 stone more than I'd like to be but I've been stress eating a lot recently. Strangely, I don't feel so big as I feel like I should do, there are bits of my body I'm working on sure but I have felt worse about my body.

junebirthdaygirl · 02/06/2019 22:35

I'm amazed at how many people are thin and still not happy . Eg double chin/ fat face at 5'4 and 8.5 stone. My dd is that measurement and you can see through her. Her face is tiny and her legs and arms are skinny. She plays a lot of sport so very toned but still l cant see anyone having a double chin.
Please believe me when you're young you don't appreciate your body.
I'm in my 50s 5'6 and 11.5 stone and lm far happier than when l was 8 stone in my 20s.
If l was 8st now l would look wretched.

5 foot 1, 10 stone 8 pounds, size 12.

Want to lose 15 pounds. (Menopausal, it's a bit harder but lost 2 stone in last 2 years just by cutting out crap.)

Leftielefterson · 02/06/2019 22:42

5”6 and 8.5 stone

unicornsrule · 02/06/2019 22:43

I an 5ft 2 and weigh 9st 2 my bum and thighs are too big

unicornsrule · 02/06/2019 22:45

I need to exercise more and sit less watching tv

cantsleep1 · 02/06/2019 22:45

@BentNeckLady we are the exact same 😘 I feel fine too wouldn't mind shifting a few pounds but otherwise....

ClaraMatilda · 02/06/2019 22:46

5ft 3in, 9st 4lb. I feel fairly good because I was over 10 stone a few months ago, but I'd like to get down to 8st 7lb ideally. I love my 26 inch waist. Less enthusiastic about the 39 inch hips, but the ratio stays about the same no matter what weight I am so I've accepted it. I've been lifting weights in the gym for a few months and that's helped me value my body for what it can do rather than fixating too much on the scale.

YahBasic · 02/06/2019 22:46

5 ft 9 and 11 stone 8.

I feel much, much comfier at 10st 8 ish, and I’m going into the summer feeling pretty sluggish and bloated.

We’re moving house soon so that should coincide with a new routine that can hopefully incorporate more exercise.

hellenbackagen · 02/06/2019 22:50

5ft4
Feeling dumpy at 10 at 10

Last year was 10st 4

Ideal was 20 years ago and 8st 7

I'm 47 and actually eat very little. I run every other day now but can't seem to shift anything ! Fed
Up!

AtleastitsnotMonday · 02/06/2019 22:53

I have an Ed. This thread is really helping me to see normal. I have no clue what normal is. I know what ever number I see on the scale will always be too high for me. It’s ridiculous because it’s an anonymous forum but I can’t post my weight it makes me feel vulnerable. I really wish i could. Like it were just a fact the same as what size feet do you have?

DiscoDown · 02/06/2019 23:01

I'm 5'2" and weigh 11 stone 5, I'm a size 14. I feel really good, I've lost 2 stone in the last couple of years and would possibly like to lose a stone more but I look in the mirror and like what I see. I used to be very slim but always saw all the wobbly bits and hated the mirror, but I'm happier now.

bugeyedbarber · 02/06/2019 23:03

5'5", 8.9st 41 yo.

Feel great for the first time in my life as I've been around that weight (give or take a stone) for most of my life and always wanted to be less. Then I found HIIT exercise and started loving shaping my body and feeling the benefits of a good sweat.

Weirdly motherhood and birth empowered me massively. When I really get into my exercise and start waning I think: THIS IS NOTHING! Think of your three day labour and those contractions. You can do this plank spinning on your little fingerGrin

Age matters: fewer fucks given since I've turned 40

firstbrightday · 02/06/2019 23:05

I'm 5 ft 11 and 10st 6lb.

I feel good mostly. I'm very slim but have cellulite and 'hip dips' which I'd like to be rid of.

shortaris1 · 02/06/2019 23:08

5 foot and 9'12. Big for my height. I love sitting at 9'1.

Diet and exercise start tomorrow.

confusedat30 · 02/06/2019 23:09

I'm 5.6 and 9 stone. Feel great, love my shape and think I look fab considering I've had 3 kids. It's always the plan to lose a couple of pounds but it's not a must xx

Notashandyta · 02/06/2019 23:14

5.9. Was 9 stone in my teens, 14 stone now at 40 after three kids in my 30's.

Defo looked better slimmer and I miss putting clothes on and looking good in anything. However... think I look better without clothes when I'm heavier, especially cause alot of my weight has gone to my boobs! Probs be happiest if I can lose a stone or two

Bloodybridget · 02/06/2019 23:14

5' 4 and about 8 stone 7, I think, I am a bit scrawny and bony in places. Don't necessarily want to gain weight, but need to get fitter again (just out of hospital after 10 days of v little activity).

ffs74 · 02/06/2019 23:16

5ft 4 and about 8st 10 at the moment. I'd prefer to be 8st 8 yes, it's only 2lb but I have such a teeny frame every bit of 'extra' seems to show!

kateandme · 02/06/2019 23:19

dairymilkmonster big hugs your so very brave.never ever give up ok.is there anything you think could help now?or will it happen when it does and until then your stuck with the bastard.
just dont give up ok.you deserve to be free.i know this with every cell in my body that you deserve to be free.

OdeToDiazepam · 02/06/2019 23:32

5ft 7 and about 10stone 1lb.. I feel a little too heavy and want to lose a bit to feel confident

BertieBotts · 02/06/2019 23:36

I'm about 5'8 and 65kg

I don't really have a feeling either way about my size. It's my body, it's healthy enough, not very fit. It does the job. I don't feel any great urge to change it.

Stiffasaboard · 02/06/2019 23:52

This has actually made me feel a bit crap

I’m 5ft5. And at 8st12-9st always thought I was fairly slim but so many on this thread same height as me but weighing less who feel they are blobby and would be better lighter.

FloofyHeckonChonker · 03/06/2019 02:31

5ft 5, just over 17st and I feel great. I used to weigh around 25st and wore a size 32. Now I'm a 22 and have loose skin.but couldn't give a flying fuck. Developing type II diabetes saved my life.

DramaAlpaca · 03/06/2019 02:41

I'm 5'10. My happy weight at my postmenopausal age would be 11 stone, but in my younger days it was 10 stone. I'm happy to carry a bit more weight now, as it helps protect my bones. Sadly I'm a bit over my happy weight & have more padding than my bones actually need but I'm working on it, and it's really hard going. As for how I feel, I feel fed up that I can't eat & drink what I want any more without it being hard to shift Angry
