Although it hasn't got as hot as it was last year (yet) I feel like I've already had enough. I'm got hayfever, I can't go outside without insects getting in my face and I'm already feeling hot and sticky. I also want to go to bed and someone round here is having an outdoors party. Yes I'm a Scrooge, no I don't care. Roll on autumn and crisp sunny days and frost and apples and brightly coloured leaves (ahh, I feel cooler already.)

I'm ok in that if it's dry heat and not muggy and if there a breeze which is forecast here.

I think I’ll stay at mum’s Monday night and Friday but the days in between are pretty bad and I will have to use Tube of course. The office will be disgusting.

My fan thing turned up.

Its small, with a fan in it, I've it running right now in an effort to cool off a bit - it's got an option to constantly spray water as it works so adding some moisture to the air and running it isn't adding to the room temperature which using my fan does. I do need it to be on full though as the lowest setting does nothing.

Not a total waste of money, not that I've used it very much!

It wasn't so hot by shops but when I went in I was hit by a wall of heat - apparently the temperature is set somewhere in South Wales based on the met office readings! Currently saying 13c. There's no way it is 13c!

Where I am it's pleasant today and cloudy sunshine. 'Only' meant to be 26 next week here but it'll feel like hell's armpit if it's muggy too. I have an event I have to go to on Sunday,it's going to be 24 but with a moderate breeze,might be ok with the breeze 🤞

Max 25c here next week, given the fairies have been out by 6c I'm worried.

Am sitting under my new fan with it spraying fine mist over me right now. So I'm ok for now. Except for the terror worry about next week.

It's 17 here but it feels much hotter. I'm boiling and grumpy. I live in an estate which is in a dip I don't believe that's the technical term so when it's hot I swear it feels hotter. As soon as you get out of the estate you get a lovely breeze back!
I wanted to go to the doctors today but it's a fair walk away and I think I might melt. My temperament can not take this temperature and it's only the first official day of the fucking summer.

It hasn't been too bad here today, I think actually slightly cooler than expected.

It's forecast 27 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday I feel I can't complain too much as it's been a pretty good summer so far, I just feel a bit sick and miserable at the thought of being hot and sticky and unable to do anything about it.

This week coming up looks like death, but it might cool a bit the week afterwards.
