How old were your parents when they became grandparents?

Mine were 57 and 65

Mine were 57 & 59.

Both 55

59 and 62. They were young parents too, my sibling and I are older parents, they thought they were never going to be grandparents then 3 came along in under 3 years .

Mum was 67. Dad died before DD was born, but would have been 69. MIL and FIL were 67 and 65.

My mum will have just turned 49 (dc1 is due just after her birthday) and my dad will be 55. DPs parents will be 55 and 58.

Both 64. They had kids in their late 20's/early 30s and we've gone onto have kids in our 30s.

my mum had me at 16 and i had my first son at 15 so she became a nanna at 31 and my nanna became a great grandma at 51. there are a lot of young grandparents where i live though.

Inlaws were 40 and 50 (oldest grandchild is almost 23 but then the next is 10!)

I don't know my dad, but my mum was 43 when I had DS

Both 60, and had been eagerly waiting to become grandparents! My siblings and I have given them 3 grandchildren in the space of 2 years.
