Did any one used to watch Gladiators?

I used to love watching this on a Saturday night with my sisters and brother, we often missed the end because dinner was ready (always lasagne on a Saturday my favourite).

Wolf and Saracen were my favourites I always found Shadows eyes really scary!

We always wanted a go at it especially suspension bridge, skytrack and the eliminator.

I've just managed to find it on the telly and me and my 7 year old DD are watching it, she loves it too Smile

Wolf pretending to be the bad guy, it was great viewing.

The referee- John Anderson used to be a coach at the running club I trained at. Was funny to hear him yelling on the track!

I loved it as a kid too.

We were saying a few days ago that Saturday night was great sitting with Mum and Dad watching Noel's house party, Gladiators and Stars in their Eyes :o

I used to race the children up the stairs for their baths as Gladiators. “On the first beep Plodge will commence the climb on my second beep Blondie will commence the climb”. Beep. Beep. Every night for goodness knows how long.

Yes, I loved gladiators! I went to see it filmed too. It took ages to film as they had to set up the equipment and put it away after each round.

We fell into a YouTube hole watching episodes on there a few weeks ago.

I would love a "where are they now" film (but not as much as I'd love a spoof one) I spent hours following them through on Wikipedia, lots of the gladiators now own gyms.

Ah I've been watching this recently. Jet is just lovely, I want to be her! Currently on series 2, I can't believe Hunter is only 19 or 20, he's seriously nails.

The hair, the outfits. It's so 90s, I love it!!
