I used to love watching this on a Saturday night with my sisters and brother, we often missed the end because dinner was ready (always lasagne on a Saturday my favourite).

Wolf and Saracen were my favourites I always found Shadows eyes really scary!

We always wanted a go at it especially suspension bridge, skytrack and the eliminator.

I've just managed to find it on the telly and me and my 7 year old DD are watching it, she loves it too Smile

After reading this thread I started watching episodes. I just watched one when Falcon has a horrendous fall which left her with back and neck injuries, I can’t believe not only did they air it but they replayed the fall in slow mo pointing out the moment you can see the awful landing, her zoom in on her pained face and film her being stretchered off. I knew Jet had been injured but was shocked at how many serious injuries they were, or maybe I’m not shocked. I remember as a kid thinking poleaxe looked really dangerous and as an adult watching Pyramid thinking it was just asking for injury! Another person apparently broke their back on sky bike but I don’t know what that is (the r

I don't remember Falcon's injury. I remember awful injuries to Jet, Nightshade, Panther (hers was the worst) and Amazon, but I don't ever remember Falcon being badly injured. Are you sure it was her? Certainly she continued to the very end of the show, so it didn't tule her out.

There was another contestant on it, a slim built guy and he had a nickname called Two Scoops...does anyone remember him?

Hawk became a South Wales policeman there was an attempted break in at our house one night and we called the police. Knock at the door and in came the biggest policeman we'd ever seen. We used to watch every gladiators program and husband asked "I know you don't I" answer I was once a gladiator back in the day. Who where you? Hawk was the answer. That a coincidence cause that staffie trying to wash you to death pedigree name is Jet the gladiator! Molly to her friends."that was my best mate came the reply. Totally true. Apparently South Wales police had to specially make his shirts as his arms were so big.

Wesley Berry, I think his name was. Small, but could move like the Flash. He used to jump over cars. His semi-final win over Phil Norman was one of the most exciting episodes ever (international gladiators).
