Oldsilver - sad news

Shocking and tragic news about the lovely Oldsilver whom many of us knew and loved. She collapsed on Monday. An ambulance was called but they were unable to revive her. Devastating for her husband and son, who are not surprisingly shocked and traumatised.

So much love going out to them.

I know she was on MN a lot, in Chat, AIBU, menopause threads among many others, and - way back - as one of the original Nobdies, which is how I knew her. She was funny, loving, generous and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of seventies and eighties music that was unparalleled. I can't believe she's gone.

Please post any memories of her below. Her husband wanted MNers to know and we'll be sending him the link to this thread.

Go boldly, Olds. You will be fiercely missed.

So lovely to see so many people who knew and loved her.

I missed seeing all these names on the screen again. It's bad that the sad news about Olds are what brought us together again, at least for a short while.
Makes you think about how you really should try to stay in touch with friends more, you never know what's round the corner.

All good in Shady Pines, we're allowed out a whole hour per day now. So that's an improvement.

Popping in to say not rtft (as usual), I thought of Olds last night watching the beautiful hazy moon because it looked like a silver coin, and is very, very old.
