Oldsilver - sad news

Shocking and tragic news about the lovely Oldsilver whom many of us knew and loved. She collapsed on Monday. An ambulance was called but they were unable to revive her. Devastating for her husband and son, who are not surprisingly shocked and traumatised.

So much love going out to them.

I know she was on MN a lot, in Chat, AIBU, menopause threads among many others, and - way back - as one of the original Nobdies, which is how I knew her. She was funny, loving, generous and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of seventies and eighties music that was unparalleled. I can't believe she's gone.

Please post any memories of her below. Her husband wanted MNers to know and we'll be sending him the link to this thread.

Go boldly, Olds. You will be fiercely missed.

I remember that! No sooner had SoMuch sat down than people were saying "Where is he then?" And I was brought out along with a couple of mates and SoMuch's flask of tea!

I’ve been hunting through old emails I exchanged with Olds. I found the list of all the threads and The Great Nobdie Novel, but I can’t find her master list that we took from thread to thread or the cocktail menu Sad I’d love to see them all again.
