Oldsilver - sad news

Shocking and tragic news about the lovely Oldsilver whom many of us knew and loved. She collapsed on Monday. An ambulance was called but they were unable to revive her. Devastating for her husband and son, who are not surprisingly shocked and traumatised.

So much love going out to them.

I know she was on MN a lot, in Chat, AIBU, menopause threads among many others, and - way back - as one of the original Nobdies, which is how I knew her. She was funny, loving, generous and had an encyclopaedic knowledge of seventies and eighties music that was unparalleled. I can't believe she's gone.

Please post any memories of her below. Her husband wanted MNers to know and we'll be sending him the link to this thread.

Go boldly, Olds. You will be fiercely missed.

What sad news. I'm stumped. She was a great lady and so much fun. I'll always remember the Nobdie threads, we laughed and cried together, well laughed mostly. A lot and I will always be grateful for these times as they helped me through a lot. Thank you for that Olds.

Nice to ‘see’ you, Nimp! Yeah, Nobs was an amazing, crazy whirlwind and Oldsie was such an integral part of it. I mean, we’d have never made a successful jump without her, list making extraordinaire! 😁
