Mumsnetters' top picks from ASOS SUPPY - ASOS' new homeware range

Hi all,

Mumsnetters love ASOS for their affordable basics, brilliant occasionwear, and unlimited next day delivery for less than a tenner. But did you know they also do homeware?

This month they've launched a shiny new home and furniture collection called ASOS SUPPLY, and we want to know what you think of it.

So, whether you like the sound of a woven laundry basket that you’ll never see the bottom of, or you think your DC would love a wall hook shaped like an elephant, let us know which SUPPLY items you could see in your home to be in with a chance of winning one of three £150 vouchers to fund your ASOS habit. We'll be picking a winner on Monday 25 February - good luck!

ASOS haven’t paid for this thread but they are providing the prizes and are interested to hear what you think.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

I actually really like it all. I love all the plant hangers and stands and could see them in my home. I'd also go for the bamboo bowls, the scroll mirror, the abstract triangle quilted bedcover and those pom pom and tassle cushions. I really love the triangle towel rail too - I've seen a few recently and really want one. My bathroom is very plain and boring and needs jazzing up.

punishmepunisher · 18/02/2019 10:27

I really like the eye mirror.

I like most of the products after having a browse! Might order some.

viccat · 18/02/2019 10:30

Most of it looks really great! I love the scroll frame mirror and the pink & green knotted rug in particular, and the pink bath mat - could easily see all those in my house. Also the ombre bamboo basket which I imagine the cats would take over in no time Grin

I had a look last week and have sent some links on to people who I think would like particular items. I’ve got my eye on one of the rugs.

I was a tiny bit disappointed by the number of items, but I guess that will build up.

blitzen · 18/02/2019 10:34

I had noticed a few of these items already but the one I really like and could see in my home is the abstract triangle quilted throw:

I've noticed a few clothing stores starting homeware lines and think that the ASOS one looks fab. It looks like good quality too. Top of my list would be

www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-scroll-frame-mirror/prd/10656356?clr=pink&SearchQuery=&cid=28698&gridcolumn=2&gridrow=12&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=49

I hope that there's more added soon. I love the stationery section too and would love to see that expanded too.

LadyR77 · 18/02/2019 10:46

Ooh some really lovely stuff! I like the pom pom throw www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-pom-pom-throw/prd/10656287

BristolMum96 · 18/02/2019 10:48

Looks like lovely stuff. I'd take almost anything considering we are moving into our first family home shortly! 😁

PersianStar · 18/02/2019 10:48

Just had a look, love the pink and blue colours used. Also think the abstract designs are abit different to what is currently available elsewhere. Might dust off my Christmas vouchers for the eye mirror Smile

MrsDerekMorgan · 18/02/2019 10:50

I love the leaf bedding, would look lovely in my guest room

I love the pastel runner. Two of those would look very nice in my bedroom!

BrendaUrie · 18/02/2019 10:56

I love the yellow eye mirror. Also the triangles rug and pink pom pom bathroom mat, would suit mine perfectly.

It seems like really nice stuff visually. ASOS have a really good quality of own brand clothes so I wouldnt hesitate in trying their home wares too.

BrendaUrie · 18/02/2019 10:58

this is the triangles rug. Lush

baconbarm · 18/02/2019 10:58

Loving all the textiles but in particular this throw www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-minimal-woven-throw/prd/10656364?clr=multi&SearchQuery=&cid=28698&gridcolumn=2&gridrow=16&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=49
Think it would be great for outdoors once the weather cheers up a bit too.

TescoValue · 18/02/2019 11:00

I love the black Aztec rug, I might actually get it when they send me one of their discount codes next. I'm in a rental property and can't paint so some of those bits would make it look a bit more homely and lived in.

VanillaSauce · 18/02/2019 11:01

I wouldn't call any of that furniture. Its all cluttery stuff that has no real purpose. Furniture are items like sofas, tables, chairs etc. A lot of it looks like the stuff you get in Primark. Fast fashionable items that would only match everything else in the same range making you think you need to buy it all.

JC4PMPLZ · 18/02/2019 11:06

Scary eye designs.....nah, wouldnt buy online. Cant tell the quality. Dont need more trinkets. Liked the gold serving spoons, but I need to feel weight of them in my hands..

TortoiseLettuce · 18/02/2019 11:09

They’re a bit jazzy for me. I prefer modern minimalist homewares from brands such as Hay, Alessi and Iittala.

MaverickSnoopy · 18/02/2019 11:14

I was hoping that when I clicked on the link there would be habitat type furniture, but alas it's more primark. Not up my street at all and I couldn't find a place in my home for it. Seems that I'm in the minority though. Nost products will find a customer base somewhere, didn't think this type of furniture would appeal to a group of mums and would be better aimed at students but apparently I'm wrong.

RightOnTheEdge · 18/02/2019 11:17

I really like the pink pom pom bath mat and the zig zag storage baskets. They would look great in my bathroom.

I also like the plant hangers. I'd like more house plants, although I'm not great at keeping them alive Blush
