Mumsnetters' top picks from ASOS SUPPY - ASOS' new homeware range

Hi all,

Mumsnetters love ASOS for their affordable basics, brilliant occasionwear, and unlimited next day delivery for less than a tenner. But did you know they also do homeware?

This month they've launched a shiny new home and furniture collection called ASOS SUPPLY, and we want to know what you think of it.

So, whether you like the sound of a woven laundry basket that you’ll never see the bottom of, or you think your DC would love a wall hook shaped like an elephant, let us know which SUPPLY items you could see in your home to be in with a chance of winning one of three £150 vouchers to fund your ASOS habit. We'll be picking a winner on Monday 25 February - good luck!

ASOS haven’t paid for this thread but they are providing the prizes and are interested to hear what you think.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

Homewares aren’t furniture. Furniture is chairs, sofas, beds, tables etc.

Villanellesproudmum · 18/02/2019 11:22

Agree that’s not furniture it’s accessories!

Aaaahfuck · 18/02/2019 11:34

I buy way too much stuff from ASOS! I was quite excited when I got an email saying they were starting to do homewear. As I like H and m for homewear. I'd love to see the range expand as at the moment it's fairly small so you might check it out for extras but wouldn't be a go to place if that makes any sense? I've got my eye on this rug www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-knotted-rug and this plant hanger www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-bamboo-woven-plant-hanger/prd/10729320?clr=brown&SearchQuery=&cid=28698&gridcolumn=2&gridrow=23&gridsize=2&pge=1&pgesize=72&totalstyles=49

I love the fact that there is colour. I’m not enjoying the full on grey trend currently, so bright colours and patterns are right up my street.

Storage is a big consideration for us as we live in a flat currently, so the bamboo baskets would be perfect - useful but stylish.

I shop very regularly at ASOS and love the next day delivery, so will definitely be looking at the homeware & furniture a lot more.

HappyDinosaur · 18/02/2019 11:39

I have a thing for mirrors, I think the square one is lovely. I also love the range of towels, the colours are gorgeous.

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 18/02/2019 11:46

I love the eye mirror (and am eyeing up a small wall on my landing for it, no pun intended).

Also like the pom poms bath mat: it's nice to have softer shapes in a bathroom as the usual colours / tiles tend to make them look quite harsh.

The prices seem good, I like the idea of accessable quirky pieces. Rather than having to spend mega bucks to try a style, where I'm more likely to chicken out and play it safe, so my house can look a bit boring.

Would like more bedding in different styles and in king size please!

Link added by MNHQ: pom pom bath mat in pink and also in black, both £16

Joopy · 18/02/2019 11:55

I wouldn't call it furniture it's more homewear. It's not all to my taste although I think I would have loved it when I was a student.
I'm currently trying to make our home more tidy and homely. I'd like to see more storage solutions, I like the baskets and I'd also like to see more practical items like plant pots and vases, fruit bowls, kitchen/bathroom containers.

TwinkleTits70 · 18/02/2019 11:57

Nope, can't say I like any of it. Looks cheap quality as well.

Hanab · 18/02/2019 12:06

I absolutely LOVE the quilted throw! I can see it on my bed! The lustre storage set would be a lovely item for my daughters room! The reatbof the items my 20yo says she can see in her home oneday soon! So funky, ethnic and retro at the same time!

BlackCatsRule88 · 18/02/2019 12:16

I can quite easily see myself adding an item or two every time I shop - the bamboo bowls look nice www.asos.com/prd/10555495?acquisitionsource=pasteboard as do the towels and bedding

lovewatchingrainfall · 18/02/2019 12:17

Hmm so interesting bits and pieces some I have to admit I really liked like the rug. However some I was a bit taken back by and wouldn't buy like the eye stuff, I would not want to be stared at.

LemonBreeland · 18/02/2019 12:22

I really like the pom pom bath mat. I also like the pom pom throw. I like the look of a lot of the stuff. The gold storage bags look great.

LilouBlue · 18/02/2019 12:27

I've just decorated, and this pink tassel cushion would look perfect in my room! www.asos.com/asos-supply/asos-supply-quilted-filled-tassel-cushion-in-pink/prd/10656366 I love a lot of the stuff actually, excited to see this range grow!

TheSpottedZebra · 18/02/2019 12:29

I quite like two of the rugs as well.

But I HATE the stary eyes, so hopefully that's a trend that won't stay around.

ABoozedMoose · 18/02/2019 12:30

They have had homeware for a while (agree that it isn't furniture) and it's always been a bit hit and miss/inconsistent style-wise.

I like ASOS a lot for clothing, accessories and make up but suspect that I am not their target audience home-style-wise (I am older and with a mortgage and tend to save up for more substantial pieces)

Dontstopmeow · 18/02/2019 12:31

I love the elephant hook and the zig zag storage baskets.

I love the pom pom throws and so would my cat Grin

ItsLikeRainOnYourWeddingDay · 18/02/2019 13:00

The knotted rug is beautiful and a surprisingly good price.also the abstract triangle throw.

I buy often from ASOS and had no idea they did homewears!

ItchySeveredFoot · 18/02/2019 13:00

I love the plant stand. And the rugs. Lots of interesting stuff.
