Mumsnetters' top picks from ASOS SUPPY - ASOS' new homeware range

Hi all,

Mumsnetters love ASOS for their affordable basics, brilliant occasionwear, and unlimited next day delivery for less than a tenner. But did you know they also do homeware?

This month they've launched a shiny new home and furniture collection called ASOS SUPPLY, and we want to know what you think of it.

So, whether you like the sound of a woven laundry basket that you’ll never see the bottom of, or you think your DC would love a wall hook shaped like an elephant, let us know which SUPPLY items you could see in your home to be in with a chance of winning one of three £150 vouchers to fund your ASOS habit. We'll be picking a winner on Monday 25 February - good luck!

ASOS haven’t paid for this thread but they are providing the prizes and are interested to hear what you think.

We might add a link into your post if we think it would be helpful.

Mumsnet carries some affiliate marketing links, so if you buy something through our posts, we may get a small share of the sale (more details here).

I thought I didn't know that ASOS did a home line, despite putting in an order for some Converse and Mac Fix+ literally half an hour ago. Then I opened the link and realised I'd actually eyed up some of the products; I just hadn't twigged they were a new thing.
What caught my eye?
The funny metallic paper bag storage things: metallic bags

Magazine file: a sucker for storage

Box in the same vein

Really hoping there'll be more storage coming...

LazyLizzy · 18/02/2019 20:38

Don't like any of it, disappointingSad

Can I spend my winning £150 voucher on stationeryWink

StainlessSteelCat · 18/02/2019 20:38

I love the bamboo planters. I'm particularly interested in the macrame plant hanger, it would give a house plant a fighting chance against my cat.

Imacliche · 18/02/2019 20:39

All of it!! However the pom pom throw and cushions look like theyd make my sofa super comfy! May actually buy them so i can recover in comfort after my op next week. Maybe the elephant hook aswel, just because it would fit right in my living room!

IWouldBeSuperb · 18/02/2019 20:39

Love the zig zag storage baskets (look great for hiding clutter!)

I can definitely see myself browsing for add-ons to my clothes orders, especially for quirky gifts.

Would be interested to know if free delivery/returns will still apply? (One of my fave things about Asos!)

Candidsugar · 18/02/2019 20:40

I didn’t know ASOS did a homeline. Assuming that the range will be expanded. The designs seem quirky and aimed for yourger people or students.

The only thing I would consider buying would be the throw. Minimalist design and nice colours.

I didn't know that they had expanded into home ware. More than anything I really like the styling of the photos, particularly the one with the butterfly chair. Hopefully when the range expands the other items will be availble along with the runner.

In terms of things I'd buy, I've taken a shine to the pompom bathmat, although I'm not sure I'll be able to convince dh!

Theimpossiblegirl · 18/02/2019 20:41

It's lovely stuff, not too pricey and very on trend.
I like the bamboo bowls

TrobadoraBeatrice · 18/02/2019 20:53

I liked the pink pompom bath mat, the striped tea towels, the orange bathroom storage set and, slightly to my surprise, the leaf and animal print bed linen.

Acidrain · 18/02/2019 20:53

I love the elephant hooks for my son's Safari themed bedroom, they would really fit in well.

Love the pom poms blanket and that you partner with the better cotton initiative.
Pretty cool stuff, wouldn't like my kid to stain the pom poms blanket though if it needs a little extra TLC

LKRJM · 18/02/2019 21:01

Wow, absolutely love all the bathroom stuff but the elephant hook is amazing! Would just order ten of those for everywhere and anywhere!

Sazquatch · 18/02/2019 21:03

If I had to pick just one thing, I love the rattan round plant hanger. I also really like the metal vase and the animal print. Tag towel.

frankie001 · 18/02/2019 21:24

Love the triangle throw

kashleesi · 18/02/2019 21:33

I love all the pompom items especially the bath mat! Also the plant hangers I’m looking for some to go in my newly done up living room so will add these to my buy list Grin

purplepingu · 18/02/2019 21:39

I love the pink pompom bathmat! I had no idea ASOS did homeware!

Callmewild · 18/02/2019 21:40

I love the triangle abstract printed rug- particularly the coloured tassels.

NeverTwerkNaked · 18/02/2019 21:42

I like this basket.

Agree with whoever upthread said the quality / style is quite “studenty” but then that means I could see myself buying bits for teenage relatives.
Shame there isn’t much choice though, I don’t think I would remember to look there unless there was a bigger range

Fingermoose · 18/02/2019 21:42

Ooh I had no idea ASOS had branched out! Some of it is too fashionable for me but I love the shell trinket dish.

SheWoreBlueVelvet · 18/02/2019 21:45

Been after macrame plant holders for ages and ai like the Pom Pom bath mats.

Otherwise it looks like it’s all been done before I think. Asda ,Primark Tesco’s have similar stuff.

crosspelican · 18/02/2019 21:47

The abstract triangle printed throw is simply gorgeous. The lustre set is lovely too, but the triangle thrown is my favourite. Oh - also the pink Pom Pom bath mat is adorable.

Mammatron · 18/02/2019 21:47

I'm quite taken with the pink Pom Pom bath mat, love being "allowed" to have pink furnishings in my house now that I'm single!

youwantathingamibob · 18/02/2019 21:47

Loving the rugs, I can't decide which is my favourite so I think I'll have to find a home for all of them! The eye mirror looks amazing and would go well with the colour scheme in my front room. Also would quite like the animal/leaf print bedding but it's a bit bright for my bedroom colour scheme so would possibly buy one of the darker ones instead.

Minnie747 · 18/02/2019 21:49

Not really furniture, more Home accessories.

Really like the metallic storage bags. The bamboo chip and dip bowls are well priced too.

The rest is not so much my taste, but I do see where the collection is going and would definitely check back in!

Summerisdone · 18/02/2019 22:01

Some of it's really quite nice, I'm actually planning on redecorating my living room so will definitely consider the eye mirror, and I may also have to treat myself to the animal/leaf print bedding too.

I need to say though, calling this stuff furniture is extremely misleading, there's nothing furniture about it, these are all home accessories, I clicked the link expecting to see sofas and coffee tables etc.
