Because I have trouble picking just one! If I have to, I'd say mine is Whisper by Evanescence. Yes it's depressing but I think of it as my happy song. Smile

Impossible! But Tracks of my Tears comes remarkably close.

movinonup · 08/02/2019 01:24

Tough call......The show must go on by Queen is my 'kick up the arse' song though and has seen me through many many tough times.

colouringinpro · 08/02/2019 01:28

So hard!!!! I'm not a sophisticated muso so for me I think it has to be Coldplay Yellow.

Freyanna · 08/02/2019 02:47

'Cowboys and Angels' by George Michael.

Wish he were still with us.

HeronLanyon · 08/02/2019 03:00

Oh that is a hard one !
I’ll go with what I would wantnayed if I were in a coma or similar in hopes it would get through -
Blackbird - beatles. (Not great fan of Beatles but find this completely beautiful).
Or
Dreams - the cranberries.

Rachelle3211 · 08/02/2019 03:02

Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie

PeanutButterLips · 08/02/2019 03:05

Omi - cheerleader.
Only have to hear the start for a second and I'm up happy and dancing

SneakyGremlins · 08/02/2019 03:15

I like Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now by Starship even though it's more than a decade older than me.

Also a huge fan of any Lady Gaga song and any Ariana Grande song.

ThreeLittleBirdz · 08/02/2019 03:36

Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac or In My Life by The Beatles are my two very favourites! Smile

Graphista · 08/02/2019 04:34

Tough question I love music.

George Michael kissing a fool is my usual answer.

But I love many of his songs so it depends on when you catch me.

Out of NON George tracks

Elbow - one day like this is fab

DarAdal · 08/02/2019 04:52

There's A Ghost in My House. R Dean Taylor.
Great foot stomping tune.

VanillaSauce · 08/02/2019 10:56

Rez/Cowgirl - Underworld.

HoraceCope · 08/02/2019 10:58

WhiteHartLane · 08/02/2019 11:02

The House of the Rising Sun by the Animals.

grannycake · 08/02/2019 11:02

Really hard but Long May you Run by Neil Young finds its way on to most of my playlists (as does Carey by Joni Mitchell)

Cocolepew · 08/02/2019 11:06

I Wanna Be Your Lover by Prince, 17 Days by him is a very close runner up.

ShannonRockallMalin · 08/02/2019 11:16

So, so hard to pick just one! And I can’t! Top three would probably be

Catch Hell Blues by the White Stripes
How Soon Is Now? by The Smiths
What the World is Waiting For by the Stone Roses

howdoyoukeepawaveuponthesand · 08/02/2019 11:18

“You’re the best” from Karate Kid. Makes me feel like a can do anything

Debruary · 08/02/2019 11:18

So so many, but I guess it would probably be Mr Blue Sky by ELO

marmitedoughnut · 08/02/2019 12:06

No lyrics but Children by Robert Miles takes some beating for me.

formerbabe · 08/02/2019 12:07

Drizabone....Real love

Kab30 · 08/02/2019 12:17

Live it up ..mental as anything...fab xx

howdoyoukeepawaveuponthesand · 08/02/2019 12:21

Kab Great choice, that song makes me feel happy! Also “Best years of our lives” by Modern Romance.

Enko · 08/02/2019 12:22

Stainds. Tangled up in you

The lyrics just touch me every time I hear it.

You're my world
The shelter from the rain
You're the pills
That take away my pain
You're the light
That helps me find my way
You're the words
When I have nothing to say

Those soft loving words combined with Aaron Lewis raw voice are just so beautiful
