I just adore getting in to my bed at night. It’s the happiest time of the day.
It’s so quiet, hot water bottle is so toasty, bed is so comfy, and all I have ahead of me is sleep. Bliss.
Anyone else just look forward to getting in to bed so much??

Yes me!!! And I've got an electric blanket... love snuggling up in bed.

Definitely. I go up at 9.00 some nights. Book, MN, dog snoozing, drink ...

I have literally just crawled into bed with my hot water bottle and had the exact same thought.

I love my children with all my soul but goodness I love the quiet when they're asleep and I've turned the laptop off (WFH) and only thing ahead of me is bed!

When I get in mine I state theatrically 'oh bed bed bed bed bed' I love it.

Yes me too. I say " Hello bed, I love you" Warm, soft comfy a good book, what more can one want. We are sooo lucky aren't we?

I love going to bed but hate the knowledge that my shitty sleep pattern will have me wake at least 4 times during the night . It’s so shit and causes my massive bags under my eyes .

Oh dear Thisimmortalcurl, I’m sorry you don’t sleep well.
I am always out about 30 seconds after I decide to sleep and 99% of the time sleep all night, I think this plays a big part in my happiness to get back to my wonderful bed!

No I hate it! I’m scared of the dark so I lie there anxiously waiting to fall asleep and so relieved when I wake and it’s morning. On the other hand that time in the morning when I first wake and it’s light in the summer and it’s the weekend is bliss.

Thank you Eleanor .. I have nothing really to keep me awake , it’s just crap luck to suddenly change to being a rubbish sleeper when my children sleep all night !

I've had a long day with lots of travel. I am really tired and I'm off to bed now to snuggle up in my brushed cotton bedding under my Baavet wool duvet . I love my bed.

No because I fall asleep too quickly and then feel I've missed out. I do love it in the morning though, when I don't have to get up.

When I wake up for work every morning, the first thing I think about is how excited I am to get back into bed later. Seriously.
