I just adore getting in to my bed at night. It’s the happiest time of the day.Grin
It’s so quiet, hot water bottle is so toasty, bed is so comfy, and all I have ahead of me is sleep. Bliss.
Anyone else just look forward to getting in to bed so much??

EleanorLavish I got the Otty mattress, it had excellent reviews. Their customer service has been great too.

Hate hate hate getting out of it at 6am to go to work 5 days a week 😕

HerestoyouMrsRobinson · 09/01/2019 22:40

My cleaners change my bedding each week and I ❤️ them

lucysmam · 09/01/2019 22:41

Ooh I love getting into bed! Especially tonight...new pj's (for my birthday), clean bedding & a huge cup of tea to take with me.

Lovely Smile

CurlsandCurves · 09/01/2019 22:44

Just nipped on here for a quick mooch now DH has gone to bed and its quiet.

Then I saw this thread. I’m off, to my Snuggly duvet and brushed cotton covers, night!

SukiPutTheEarlGreyOn · 09/01/2019 22:47

Hot chocolate finished. Dog snoring on chair. Comfy PJs on and now snuggled down in lovely, lovely bed with my book. Sleep well, all.

PullTheBricksDown · 09/01/2019 22:49

Just making a cup of tea to take up so I can get into my cosy bed, put Netflix on and look forward to drifting off to sleep Smile

Ivegotthree · 09/01/2019 22:52

Me. I feel sad as I make my bed in the morning, knowing what I have to go through before I can get back in it.

(No I actually like my job and life, but my favourite bit is getting into bed. Ideally early with a hottie and a book).

Titsywoo · 09/01/2019 22:54

Love my bed so much! Dh and I spent a fair bit on it. The frame is a chunky brown leather tv bed. I hated the idea but gave in as dh was so desperate for one. It's bloody brilliant. Mattress is tempur then we have a soft thick mattress protector, dorma sheets and duvet cover and a heavy 13 tog duvet. It's like the softest warmest happy place in the world!

DyingMachine · 09/01/2019 22:59

It's my favourite place in the world. I love sleep, so much so, that I feel depressed and teary every morning when I wake up

stayathomer · 09/01/2019 23:43

'Pub a mad' was pyjamas!! Sorry!!

Uncooperativefingers · 09/01/2019 23:43

I love Christmas lights try the Sealy Singapore. Proper spring mattress underneath and geltex (whatever that is) on top. You get a proper heavy feeling from it but still a cocooning. I love it so much!

(Alternatively, if you're up for spending mrgabucks go and lie on a Vispring. Absolute heaven! I think our favourite bed mattress combo of theirs was about £4000. But I started saving from when we bought the Singapore, so in about 10 years when it needs replacing I can buy it guilt free! Grin )

TigerTooth · 10/01/2019 00:56

Ahhh...eldest DS at uni now so I steal his big double bed all to myself and DH sprawls out in ours - spooning is great when you're young and in love but now we just want a good nights sleep - ALONE!

Sweet dreams all,,,

Ragwort · 10/01/2019 08:31

Agree with you all, and I have to have a separate bedroom to DH, we have spent most of Christmas re-decorating so that the spare room (where he sleeps Grin) is equally comfortable to the ‘master’ bedroom, he’s got a new carpet as well which makes me think I might get one as well. Love closing the bedroom door, spreading out in my super king bed and just knowing there is a few hours of peace and quiet ahead, and like others I frequently have a nap during the day.

NoIsACompleteAnswerSometimes · 10/01/2019 08:41

When we get into bed we always say "hello bed ", best time of the day.
When we went out to dinner on new year's eve with our grandchildren, the meal was at 6 ( early because they're only little) and we were calculating that we could be home by 8 and in bed by half past, and we were!

TitchyP · 10/01/2019 08:54

I too llove, love, love my bed and make various exclamations as such every night as I get in. Unfortunately my DC love it as much as I do and can often be found in it.

Get in your own bed!

toastfiend · 10/01/2019 12:15

I love it! 32 weeks pregnant and bed is the only place I feel comfortable these days (I'm aware even my bed won't be comfy in a few weeks, but I'm enjoying it for now!)

I love getting into a cold bed that then warms up around me. Lots of pillows, fluffy duvet and the mattress we have is just amazing, even though it's quite old now. DH works away during the week so I get the bed all to myself every night and can go up as early as I like. Nothing better than curling up with a good book and reading for an hour or so before going to sleep. I find it very hard to leave in the mornings!

Workschmurk · 10/01/2019 12:47

Brushed cotton duvet covers was a game changer - if you haven't tried it then DO! Grin

mydogisthebest · 10/01/2019 13:08

No, because to me sleeping is just such a waste of time. I don't go to bed until midnight and then have to force myself to go. I get up about 7am.

I just think of all the things I could be doing if I didn't have to sleep - reading, watching tv, watching a dvd, surfing the internet, playing with my dogs, knitting, sewing etc

username7000 · 10/01/2019 13:17

Dreaming of getting into bed tonight Smile
I never understand why people go to bed late .
I also love getting home and putting my pjs and comfy socks on Grin

pilates · 10/01/2019 13:19

Yes love my bed

mydogisthebest · 10/01/2019 14:16

I am absolutely amazed that so many people love going to bed.

My DH is like me. Well in fact he is worse because he usually goes to bed even later than me (about 2am) and gets up either with me or earlier!

My bed is comfy and I have no real sleep problems but I still see it as a waste of time
