Getting in to bed is such a highlight of my day.

I just adore getting in to my bed at night. It’s the happiest time of the day.
It’s so quiet, hot water bottle is so toasty, bed is so comfy, and all I have ahead of me is sleep. Bliss.
Anyone else just look forward to getting in to bed so much??

Glad it's not just me! I think sometimes DH gets offended that I want to be in bed because it's Bed, not because of him

I hadn't realised I did, and then i had DS and one day, when I was having a really bad day, I thought to myself "bedtime soon, can't wait" and then had the crippling realisation that it only got worse at night- no sleep, all alone, exhausted with a crying baby. I think it was fun I realized I had PND!

I now don't take my bed, or sleep for granted.

for 17 years we had the cheapest of cheap mattresses which obviously got more uncomfortable as the years past, flattened with springs poking through, we put toppers on duvets on it all sorts to make do. As there was always more important things to pay for.

3 years ago we got a new bed and set a whatever it takes budget for the mattress. We spent ages trying them out in shops, until we found 'the one'. bye God we love it, so soft sqeeshy cosy lovely amazing. It wasn't a break the bank price one either.

I still sigh every night and exclaim "bed, ohh I love this bed" and snuggle down.

My tribe! Glad it's not just me. Loving the sound of the luxury mattress toppers to make my bed even more snug. Any recommendations?

I love my bed. I've got a mattress topper, electric blanket and some brand new half price cotton and cashmere bedding. Pillow sprayed with deep sleep spray (Christmas present, lovely) It's like sleeping in a cloud and makes me so happy.

I too love my bed. It’s all mine. Thick mattress topper, goose down duvet and pillows. Love snuggling in with cat by my side, turn off the lamp and listen to a couple of chapters of audiobook while dropping off to sleep. Sheer bliss.

I’ve just bought myself a fancy mattress protector and some nice pillows to make my comfortable but not quite comfortable enough student bed better so I fall asleep easier and stay asleep and wake up refreshed. Love sinking into my bed at the end of a long day and this is going to make to so much more indulgent.

Oh goodness yes. I even have a little song I sign sometimes about how much I love my bed - a little fun between me and my daughter! I really do, though. love my bed.
