I just adore getting in to my bed at night. It’s the happiest time of the day.
It’s so quiet, hot water bottle is so toasty, bed is so comfy, and all I have ahead of me is sleep. Bliss.
Anyone else just look forward to getting in to bed so much??

It's my favourite place and the thought of going to bed is the only thing that gets me through my day!
Once I'm finished downstairs, I go up to bed put my heated throw on watch some Netflix, or read a book or look at my phone it's so relaxing. Love it.

It’s not even really about sleeping for me-just being in bed! It’s soft, big, warm, cosy, I can lie down-it’s my really happy place.

Thisimmortalcurl Lush do a sleepycream which you use at bedtime and it helps you drift off to sleep. I bought a pot each for my two girls as they have sleeping issues due to medical conditions and they have said it really helps. Might be worth a try.

Anyway, yes I love my bed. I'm finding it really hard to get up in the mornings and just can't wait to get to bed.

I love getting into bed. We have a lovely comfy mattress. Unfortunately I wake up a lot. In the summer I live crisp cotton sheets but this winter I have discovered brushed cotton sheets & duvet covers. Why did none of you tell me before? They are bliss. When DH is away I wriggle & luxuriate in them and say "Ah, bed"

HolidayShopping, I don't like reading in bed. I just can't get comfortable. I hate watching tv in bed. When you stay in a hotel and the only place to watch tv is sitting or lying on the bed it's awful.

We have never had a tv in the bedroom. In the first few years of marriage DH kept saying about having one but I put my foot down. So 39 years later he has given up!

If I want to read, watch tv, use the internet or just relax I sit on my settee

Oh yes, I love my bed. Sometimes I walk past during the day and think "gosh, that looks so comfortable" and can't wait to go to bed.

The search for gorgeous crackly silky Egyptian cotton (?) and pref bargainous bed linen goes on though. Any recommendations? Just got some from amazon and it's nice, but not crackly enough.

My neighbour came over last night to get a parcel that was delivered to my house. I was in my pjs and socks all ready for sleep and as I handed her the parcel she said ‘I am so sorry for waking you up so late we both looked at the clock in my hallway . . . It was 8.25 .

Oh God, I love my bed sooooooo much. Getting into it is the best part of the day by miles

Most nights as I snuggle into bed I think that there are kings and queens who will never have slept in a bed so lush and comfortable and snuggly and perfectly warm. The crinkle of the cotton, the whoosh of the feather duvet, nothing matches it.

I've invested in a fleece electric underblanket and brushed cotton bedding, and fluffy bed socks and fleece jammies. I'm saving up for fleece pillow covers to go under my brushed cotton ones.

This thread (and I'm only on page 2) has proactively made me go to my bed.

My bed is my most favourite place in the world. Every single night as I lie in it I say out loud 'ahhhhhh, the absolute best part of the day' then I have a wiggle around just to enjoy that moment. It seems, in that moment, all the worries of life disappear

I'm in bed now! Have had a busy week and also weekend so I treated myself with tea and a hot cross bun in bed at 5pm (dp got in for a while ). I'll get up again to eat and maybe watch antiques roadshow, then back to bed for me!

I adore my bed, it’s my calm, happy place. I am in bed most nights at 9 and then have some time reading a book or on social media. One of the highlights of my week (very boring I know) is clean bedding, clean pjs and a bath)

Yes! I love going early! Cool, quiet room, soft bed, peace and quiet and no bugger in there taking up space! Heaven!
