TV programmes you MUST switch off

What is it for you? What TV programmes can you not stand at all - to the point that you have to change the channel or leave the room?

For me it’s Impractical Jokers and Homes Under the Hammer. For entirely different reasons - Impractical Jokers because it irritates me to the point that I am just angry, and Homes Under the Hammer because it reminds me of when DH was ill as it was on every time we were in the hospital for bad news and now I just can’t watch it.

The One Show. Just the first bars of the intro music have me leaping for the remote! Why is this still even on? I don't know anyone who watches it.

I absolutely love Mrs Brown’s boys but thenbit takes me back to the people I’ve known

I just remembered that we used to watch The Simpsons every day on 4 and scramble for the remote before Hollyoaks started.

Bring back the Test Card, preferably version 'F'. Together with the library music, it made for quality viewing and listening back in the day.

I can’t see it mentioned, so maybe I’m in the minority- The Inbetweeners.

I've only seen a snatch of it but I imagine The Last Leg is one of those clever dick programmes I'd want to eradicate or, at least, switch off. Anyone else or am I being unfair ?

I absolutely loved the Last Leg but it's kind of a bit samey now. Still good but maybe has run its course.

For me it went south when the proper lolz: earnest hand wringing ratio went too far the other way.

I agree about The Last Leg, loved it during the Paralympics but it's too much with it on every week and it has gone downhill.

The One Show. In our house you get fined for putting it on, even if you switch the TV on and it just happens to be on bbc1 at 7:05pm.

Doc Martin.
Grumpy doc who had a rocky relationship and saves one life per show.
It really has run its course.

Homes under the hammer. Let's buy a house that was previously someone's home for 40 years, paint it magnolia and beige and rent it. For a few years. Then kick out the tenant and sell it on.
