Do you think anyone would notice if you left Mumsnet?

Back in the day, you’d see the same names over & over again & you would literally notice if someone hadnt posted for a just a few days.
Is Mumsnet just too big now to ‘miss’ anyone?

ESD a troll? Don't believe it. I remember her back in her SP days. She'd Rickroll MN with THAT Cliff Richard picture... surely no troll would bother?

I've NCd recently though (after making the shortlist of the Halloween name change, no less!) as a relative spotted me on here and asked it it was me. It was, so that name is kaput now!

Me? No, I don't think anyone would notice if I left! Although there's a few of you on here who've said the same that I think I would notice weren't around any more.

I think there was something about ESD that blew up but I can't remember what.
Like pp I recognise the older names on here and realise when people come back iyswim, Greensleeves and Mardybra etc.
I also use MN more like a magazine to flick through now.

I don't think anyone would notice me but my posts are boring, I regularly see posts by Paxillin and Zoflorabore but I think we must just read similar threads, so I'd noticed if they stopped posting!

Certainly nobody would notice if I left, but then thread killing is my forte. I've been around several years, and find myself looking for certain names to appear in certain circumstances - likey AnyFucker or MrsMozart. When the thread is particularly sad I always look for TheMadHugger to come make it all better.

Where is ExpatInScotland though? I have noticed she has not been visible recently.
