Do you think anyone would notice if you left Mumsnet?

Back in the day, you’d see the same names over & over again & you would literally notice if someone hadnt posted for a just a few days.
Is Mumsnet just too big now to ‘miss’ anyone?

No, I post occasionally, but not consistently. I WAS going to post on a thread earlier (DIL initially staying upstairs during FIL visit), but one poster in particular derailed it and made it all about herself, so I refrained. I hate when that happens. Some posters are so insecure.

I'm now waiting for a torrent of abuse...

When I joined about 3 years ago there was lots of chat about 'MN Royalty' but I never see that anymore.

I’ve been here since 2006 in various names but I won’t be missed. I have made a group of friends on here though and we keep in touch via Facebook.

I think some posters just stopped posting very much rather than 'left' as such - move on to other things IRL or other types of social media.

I've never name changed as I'm a creature of habit but I'm sure I wouldn't be missed if I left.
