Do you think anyone would notice if you left Mumsnet?

Back in the day, you’d see the same names over & over again & you would literally notice if someone hadnt posted for a just a few days.
Is Mumsnet just too big now to ‘miss’ anyone?

I don't take much notice of names on here apart from one knobber who keeps popping up.

No - I notice others though and I do notice name changes. Some have a real ‘style.’

Someone I do miss is Maryz. I believe she was banned.

I don’t think many would and I’m glad!

That said there are a couple of MN-ers who I’ve regularly ended up on the same thread and who I’ve exchanged the odd message who might. I would notice if I stopped seeing them.

I’ve got a bizarre memory for details and remember loads of usernames.

I’ve not namechanged for around 5 years though, starting to think it might be time

One poster I think might miss me and I'd miss her and if I don't see her posts for a bit I wonder why, hope she's ok.

I miss BonsoirAnna, later Bonsoir who lives in Paris. I hope she's okay because I heard she wasn't well.

Maryz posted under another name to say she’d been banned but the thread was pulled. It could have been a troll post but I’ll never know.

No, but I NC all the time. I have several names on the go for a few months, then I set up some new ones .

I’ve been here 10 years or so. I’ve alwats posted but I’m a regular name changer since the hacking. And I got recognised & approved by a journalist so name change every few months or so.

I would t be missed but I'm a regular namechanger these days too. Back in the day lots of names stayed the same. Now with newspapers employing lazy journalists I don't want to keep the same name.

That's an interesting question. The short answer is that, no, I don't think anyone would!

Having said that, I do feel that I 'know' certain regular posters who have a distinct persona and/or hobby horse and actually I would probably notice after a while if they stopped posting.

And I can think of a couple of no-longer-active posters who I miss because I enjoyed their writing style.

No, I wouldn't be missed but I would miss you surferjet as a staunch supporter of Brexit. We're outnumbered on here.
