I've just plucked what can only be described as a white pube out of the middle of my FOREHEAD!

My FOREHEAD!

Is this some kind of peri-menopausal pisstake nobody bothered to tell me about?

A whisker on holiday?

An eyebrow hair gone rogue?

Or the first stage of my transition into a fat unicorn let's face it, rhinoceros?

Please tell me I'm not alone in finding hair where hair should never be.

I get one growing in my nose occasionally, OP. About halfway up on the right. I bloody hope it's not a perimenopausal delight; I'm only thirty three!

I've just neurotically run my fingers over my forehead Just In Case.

I'm 36 and keep finding the odd thick whisker on my upper lip, and I'm getting fine, long, dark hairs on my upper arms (I'm blonde).

I get a random long fair hair growing from my forehead every now and then, it literally seems to appear over night!

If this is my fate I'd better embrace it.

What would I rather be? Probably a rhino, on balance. Unicorns are a bit annoying. Rhinos take no shit.

I once found a really fine blond hair growing out of my cheek bone area, which is weird enough but I was about three inches long and rippling in a light breeze

I hastily plucked it and it hasn’t been back. My chin bristle, however, likes to keep my on my toes.

I get lots of thick black hair under my chin and around my nipples (though obviously the nipple hair is not visible in public!) If it's perimenopausal then I'm fucked as I'm only 27 with no biological DC yet.

My suggestion would be to grow it out and tie it in a bow, that way no one will ever know and you'll look cute.

I saw a long hair out of the corner of my eye on my shoulder, I went to remove it and it was actually attached!! Long shoulder hair!

I occasionally find 2-3 centimetre random hairs growing on my neck.... And at that size they are obviously visible to all and sundry.
But, oh, the satisfaction when you pluck them out.

I get one really thick white hair, like a horsehair(!!!!) growing out of my cheek. It always just suddenly appears overnight about 3cm long. Wtf body?

Posey have you been checked for polycystic ovaries? I have it one of the symptoms is facial hair.

I have a random dark hair that grows on my cheek. It's in an awkward place so I can't really see it and just have to try and remember to pluck every so often.

Haha..... I found a rogue hair on my cheek. Lovely thick black thing just sticking out all on its own! That was plucked out. Anyway I now get my full face threaded as I venture into late 40s bliss my face has morphed into a vagina, bloody hair everywhere upper lip, chin, cheeks .....

Maybe I should just cease and desist with the plucking/shaving/chemical warfare and go full Cousin It.

It'd save me a fortune.

Chin, boob, even my toes but never, ever on my forehead!!! There are worse things than unicorns 🦄 you could be! 😂

My favourite one is the 1.5" long upper arm hair. Luckily it's pretty fine and fair, it's just the length of it!

I have just started getting the chin bristles (but I'm over 50 now so fair play). Have had the odd nipple hair for years, usually up to 3 at a time - got a bit "eek" when one of them came out white, but it's never been back! Most of them are dark.

I think you'll be fine though, OP - even if it does turn into a rhino horn, one hair's worth isn't going to be worth poaching you for.

I have a hair that starting growing out of my chin in my 20's. It's now turned white. Only just turned 41 and only one or 2 grey hairs in my entire head so very annoying to have this thing sprouting out of my chin.

I get the odd, weirdly long rogue hair on my ear lobe. After a particularly mighty one I've got obsessive about checking my ears to catch any while they're small. I never catch any small ones. Just the odd long one that appears as if by magic!

Not specifically @NerdyBird. That thought had crossed my mind but I recently had an ultrasound (to look for my missing mirena) and whilst there the lady checked my ovaries and said they looked good - presumably it would've been picked up if I have PCOS? Although obviously they weren't actually looking for cysts but rather my coil.

Never had one on my forehead, but I've had rogue hairs appear in the following places:

Cheek bone
Neck
Side of my nose

I also get bastard chin hairs, boob hairs and random pubes appearing almost anywhere on my legs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not yet. But it wouldn’t surprise me. I now keep tweezers in the car and do a daily check while waiting at school pick up as they keep appearing everywhere else.

While there are fellow hairies around, can I ask, has your ‘sideburn’ hair changed? I used to have a fairly normal few strands of light hair. It’s now thick, dark & plentiful. WTAF is with that? I’m considering laser treatment, but don’t know where to start with finding somewhere decent.
