How many teeth have you got?

Just that really. I do mean teeth of your own. I’m having an extraction tomorrow and will be left with 25 teeth. 12 top, 13 bottom. Seems enough to me, what do you think?

24! I had 4 removed for braces at 12 and then had another 4 removed aged 20 for another set of braces. It was only when I had my second lot of teeth removed my wisdom teeth came through because I have a small jaw and big teeth so there was no room for them to come through until then! DH's wisdom teeth came through when he was 18 but he has a full set of teeth (32).

SeaGlassHunter · 30/09/2018 20:12

20

Not all of my adult teeth came through. Eight baby teeth had to be removed as they were sinking into the gums.

The teeth I have are super strong though - I'm 40 and have never had a filling.

29, and one wisdom tooth still hidden

12 at the top
13 at the bottom

25 total.

Had 5 molar teeth out and 1 wisdom tooth out in a year year when I was early 20's but managed to keep all since then.

n0ne · 30/09/2018 20:31

Sure @spacefighter

LifeofClimb · 30/09/2018 20:34

33! I have one spare.

Fink · 30/09/2018 20:36

31, had a wisdom tooth out. One of the other wisdom teeth is useless though as it's grown sideways so I can't chew with it. In practical terms: 30.

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams · 30/09/2018 20:38

26 of my own. My lateral incisors are missing (no adult teeth formed) so I have two false ones. My wisdom teeth are lurking up in my gums somewhere though.

A580Hojas · 30/09/2018 20:40

No idea. I don't know my blood type either (although I know I am rhesus neg). I don't know where my marriage certificate and birth certificates or the children's birth certificates are either.

dudsville · 30/09/2018 20:41

All of them? I have all the teeth. 15 top and 15 bottom!

LemonRedwood · 30/09/2018 20:42

Miljah You must have my top two wisdom teeth that never made an appearance!

I have 30.

purplecorkheart · 30/09/2018 20:44

All bar one which I broke in a fall and had to.get the remainder extracted in an emergency appointment when on holidays in Edinburgh. The dentist gave me.a copy of my x-ray to take home he had never came across tooth roots like mine

Howtodeal · 30/09/2018 20:46

No idea but i know all my no 4s are missing, I changed dentist recently and she counted them all

RocketPockets · 30/09/2018 20:47

28 including 4 baby teeth & no wisdom teeth. I haven't had them out I just don't have any!

ShackUp · 30/09/2018 20:47
  1. Had a pre-molar extracted at the top about 10 years ago due to wearing ceramic braces but needing more space. Then had to wear those pingy elastic things for a bit to close the huge gap...
Nogodsnomasters · 30/09/2018 20:52

I have 27 but 3 of those are crowns so fake basically. So 24 natural teeth.

tenbob · 30/09/2018 20:57

14 top
14 bottom

I'm genetically devoid of wisdom teeth - neither of my parents and none of my siblings have any

BakedBeans47 · 30/09/2018 21:00

24

I had 4 out for overcrowding in my teens and then 4 impacted wisdom teeth out when I was 21 so never had more than 24.

I used to be worried they’d wear out more quickly as I had a third less teeth than the full quota but in my mid 40s now and they still seem to be doing OK.

Heatherjayne1972 · 30/09/2018 21:18

An adult should have 32 but some get extra teeth or some teeth never appear
I have 26.

Rememberallball · 30/09/2018 21:27

22 - 10 on top plus 2 gaps (one each side due to adult extractions for broken teeth - now got a plate with 2 replacements for them but don’t wear it very often as it’s uncomfortable). 12 on the bottom.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed about 21 years ago and also had 11 teeth removed when I was very young - 7 milk teeth and 4 adult pre molars due to milk teeth not falling out and then overcrowding pre braces.

Unescorted · 30/09/2018 21:27

27 - 13 top 14 bottom. 13 extracted ( one drilled from the jaw) 7 still first teeth.

NameChange0000 · 30/09/2018 21:32

27

Noboozeforme · 30/09/2018 21:37

28 .. yes just counted them.

youngestisapsycho · 30/09/2018 21:50

I have 28.. 14 top and bottom... I know I’ve had at least 2 removed?

Peachydream · 30/09/2018 21:55

26, however 1 is a full crown.

2 extractions & I've never had wisdom teeth, apparently there is nothing there. My DM has never had any either so I wonder if it runs in families?
