How many teeth have you got?

Just that really. I do mean teeth of your own. I’m having an extraction tomorrow and will be left with 25 teeth. 12 top, 13 bottom. Seems enough to me, what do you think?

I still have 2 milk teeth. I'm 40. My dentist credits my cheese habit for their excellent condition... 😁

Agentornika · 30/09/2018 19:20

I have 27, 2 gaps from extractions

scrivette · 30/09/2018 19:22

25, I had 3 Wisdom teeth removed and others removed when I had a brace in my teens.

@0hcrepe I’ll probably have braces soon as my childhood dentist left me with big gaps “to make room” but what is now happening is the teeth by the gaps are falling over like tombstones so I’ll need braces to straighten them up prior to implants going in the gaps. Either that, or I’ll take the family to Disneyland- it’s expensive!

It’s a relief to read that others have as few teeth as me. I thought I was the only one. I cried after last time I went to the dentist as he filed a bit off a couple of them (thinking they were grinding each other and causing pain) - I’ve only got a few teeth, so I don’t want the ones I do have getting any smaller!

LetsGoFlyAKiteee · 30/09/2018 19:25

27..and half a wisdom tooth that hasn't come through and doesn't seem like it will.

LaPufalina · 30/09/2018 19:27

24
All wisdom and my "fours" removed, big teeth and small jaw. My dentist offered to take out another that points in (and I sometimes bite my tongue with it) and I declined, because I didn't want a prime number. He was a bit Hmm

ButtermilkBiscuits · 30/09/2018 19:28

I've got 31 which includes my wisdom teeth less one molar extraction.

RandomUsernameHere · 30/09/2018 19:30

28 (had to count)!
No wisdom teeth, not had them removed I just don't have any

Thatstheendofmytether · 30/09/2018 19:31
  1. Have all of my wisdom teeth but only half way through. I've no eye teeth had them lulled when I was younger because I had no room and they grew on the top of my gums instead of inline with my other teeth. Had 13 teeth pulled in total due to lack of room. Braces twice top and bottom 😂. I could be doing with having the wisdom out, there's just not enough space for them!
RoseMartha · 30/09/2018 19:32

11 on bottom and 10 on top but i never grew any wisdom teeth.

TulipsInBloom1 · 30/09/2018 19:32

16 top. 16 bottom. 32.

spacefighter · 30/09/2018 19:33

n0ne can I ask you a question?

I have 30.

Ontopofthesunset · 30/09/2018 19:34

28, but I haven't lost any. 14 top,14 bottom, but I never had any wisdom teeth.

elQuintoConyo · 30/09/2018 19:35

14 up top, 14 down the bottom. No wisdom teeth, they don't appear on x-rays either, so i just don't have them.
No braces, no fillings. I love my 43yo teeth!

EdWinchester · 30/09/2018 19:36

I have only got 24!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out and 4 molars out prior to having braces.

jenniuol · 30/09/2018 19:39
  1. 12 top and bottom. I had 4 out when I was a teenager having braces etc. I’ve not got any wisdom teeth. Must have a small mouth, can’t imagine 32 fitting in!
SpaSushi · 30/09/2018 19:40

22 😱 just cpunted!
had 4 extractions for over crowding but thought it was almost normal. Cant believe some have 30+

I think it depends how big/small your mouth/jaw is whether its enough

0hCrepe · 30/09/2018 19:42

Oh ok thanks vest I hope it goes well xx

Tisfortired · 30/09/2018 19:44

31, an odd number due to a back tooth crumbling couple of years after root canal and couldn't afford/be arsed to fix.

Fontrieu · 30/09/2018 19:45

I have no idea?! Not all of them?
I had my wisdom teeth come through in my 30s, horizontally through the gum and that seemed to shatter the teeth beneath/above them so I probably have less than I should, but can I tell? At the time, yes it hurt but now? No.
I eat and talk normally, I think.
All my other teeth are fairly ok, I have three fillings at the back. Two up top, one on the bottom.
How did people cope before dentistry? Natural selection.

Spam88 · 30/09/2018 19:45

Well until recently I thought I had 30, but turns out I actually do have wisdom teeth at the bottom but they've grown sideways under my gum so won't ever make an appearance.

bichonbaby · 30/09/2018 19:48

32! Just counted 😂

Brigante9 · 30/09/2018 19:52

31 if you count the fang covered by a crown where I went over the handlebars of my Chopper and snapped a front tooth in half. One extraction due to it being rotten, fortunately a molar so unnoticeable.

Justwaitingforaline · 30/09/2018 20:00

27, 13 top, 14 bottom. Two extractions, one wisdom tooth through on top!

Whatififall · 30/09/2018 20:00
  1. 14 on top and 13 on bottom. Had all my wisdom teeth removed when I was a teen then lost one due to pregnancy.

I said something to the dentist about hormones making teeth problematic in pregnancy and she replied that it was more to do with eating sweets for 2...
