How many teeth have you got?

Just that really. I do mean teeth of your own. I’m having an extraction tomorrow and will be left with 25 teeth. 12 top, 13 bottom. Seems enough to me, what do you think?

Twenty-eight and a quarter.

I have a full set of 28 adult teeth, plus a tiny little rudimentary wisdom tooth top right.

I’ve just counted. I would have sworn I have 31, but there are only 30 there. I knew one of my wisdom teeth hadn’t come through but genuinely no recollection of another one being extracted... there are no gaps...

BakerBear · 30/09/2018 17:49

I have 24 teeth, no gaps. My mouth isn’t big enough for anymore teeth

32

16 top, 16 bottom.

Thts including wisdom teeth.
I had teeth out when I was 9 before I had my braces but I've no idea if they were adult teeth or baby teeth??

AtiaoftheJulii · 30/09/2018 17:50

Just counted, 26 (top 7+6, bottom 7+6). Had 4 out when I was 12 to have braces. Had one wisdom tooth out (and the other 3 took about twenty years to fully come through) and have had one extraction a few years ago. I'd be quite happy to go down to 24, the 7s are quite a squish.

Kemer2018 · 30/09/2018 17:50

27
Ive had 4 wisdoms removed and 2 extractions

HildaZelda · 30/09/2018 17:50
  1. Had 4 out in my early teens in order to have braces, and only 3 of my wisdom teeth ever came through. I have none on the top right.
Moonflower12 · 30/09/2018 17:51
  1. 4 our as a child due to overcrowding and no wisdom teeth! No wisdom either...
ineedaholidaynow · 30/09/2018 17:51
  1. Wisdom teeth have never come through. Two of the bottom back molars also never appeared, and I had to have one of the corresponding top molars taken out, as it was growing down to find the missing bottom one, so was rubbing on my gums.

No fillings though

Frlrlrubert · 30/09/2018 17:51

29 (3 wisdom teeth are sideways on X-ray and can't erupt)

ThomasHardyPerennial · 30/09/2018 17:51

29 including 1 wisdom tooth (only one to come through).

  1. But I had osteomyelitis of the lower jaw and had to have all lower back teeth removed on both sides, plus wisdom extraction on the top
Violetroselily · 30/09/2018 17:52

32, although the front top 2 are a bridge due to childhood trauma

Roomba · 30/09/2018 17:54
  1. I had two molars removed as a teenager when I had braces fitted I got my wisdom teeth through fine - where are my other four teeth? Adults are supposed to have 32 teeth, no? So I have four 'missing' somewhere! Not lurking anywhere in my jaw according to x-rays, I just never formed them Confused
piglet81 · 30/09/2018 17:55
  1. Had one wisdom tooth out as an adult, and two others as a child pre-braces (one of which hadn't erupted and had gone haywire and was trying to escape via my nose, by the looks of the x-ray. I wish I had that x-ray still! Perhaps I'm part narwhal...)
FoodGloriousFud · 30/09/2018 17:57

I have 32! How do some people have so few?

wendz86 · 30/09/2018 17:57

31, had one wisdom tooth removed at the top .

Icklepup · 30/09/2018 17:58

I have 27, no gaps.. I had 4 out when young and that's where wisdom teeth are and instead of 4 at the bottom front I have 3.

TittyGolightly · 30/09/2018 17:59

23, one of which is a milk tooth. I have no premolars and no wisdom teeth, and a couple of other teeth missing. None of them ever existed.

Evolution.

Harrykanesrightsock · 30/09/2018 18:01

26 all wisdom teeth removed plus some adult teeth for overcrowding. I also have two extra teeth still in my gums at the front that never came to anything

hugoagogo · 30/09/2018 18:02

25- I had four out 'to make room' as a child, the other 3 have been a bad crack, a failed root canal and a wonky wisdom tooth.
I really wish I still had those 4 teeth Sad

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 30/09/2018 18:03

28 teeth, I've had two removed but they are not noticeable ones.

Miljah · 30/09/2018 18:04
  1. I win. Grin I have 2 extra wisdom teeth, one each side at the top. I do have one crown, too.
