I think he could be a great principled Prime Minister.

He wants to stop the selling off of the NHS and pump money into it. Everyone is equal when it comes to treatment no matter how much money you have The NHS is a gold standard of excellence for all.

The Tories/May want to privatise the NHS. So if you don't have a enough money to pay for private treatment, you will die. Good times ahead if the Tories are in power...

Labour wants More Social Housing, for the young, hard working and disadvantaged, which now also includes anyone under 30, who will not be able to raise a deposit on a average family home.

Rightful payments will made to those who are disabled, or not able to work. Under the Tories there were many legitimate benefits payments rejected to those who had terminal cancer and other life limiting illnesses, The guardian highlighted this issue.

Also BREXIT

What say you?

PingusPaws · 26/09/2018 21:17

@Bluntness100 And?

Amaaboutthis · 26/09/2018 21:18

I’d say, how do they plan to pay for it. He’s full of hot air because he knows he’s never going to be PM THANK GOD

And what,,,here ends a party political broadcast? 🤣

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 21:19

Sorry, I prefer living in a country in which Jews feel safe and accepted.
Now away back and play with your little friends in that playgroup, what’s it called again ...

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 21:21

Momentum, that’s it!
Also, the tories aren’t selling off the NHS so stop telling stupid lies. And labour supports Brexit, more stupid lies.

PingusPaws · 26/09/2018 21:24

May said she didn't have a money tree, but magically had few million extra to make sure the DUP keeps her in power, and deprives the rest is of the UK from much needed money.

Love corbs!!

Neshoma · 26/09/2018 21:26

a great principled Prime Minister. Ha, what rubbish.

A dictator in waiting, a terrorist sympathiser and and an antisemite who wants to spend £12 billion insulating peoples homes.

Bluntness100 · 26/09/2018 21:28

What's the point of this op? Think mumsnetters are a bunch of ignorants that don't keep up to date with party policies?

Snog · 26/09/2018 21:28

He is definitely a conviction politician and has massive grass roots support. He talks about what needs talking about.

Bluntness100 · 26/09/2018 21:29

He talks about what needs talking about

Yeah, he's been impressively vocal on the anti semitism in his party.

happygolurkey · 26/09/2018 21:31

I like Corbyn. I re-joined Labour after many years away because of him. I don't agree with him on everything but, for me, he's a lot more inspiring than any of the other party leaders.

@Bluntness100 what is the point of your reply.

Mumsnet posters are clued in and savvy. They don't need you telling them otherwise.

This was a discussion about Corbyn's address

OP posts:
Seniorschoolmum · 26/09/2018 21:35

Corbyn? For PM! That’s the most ridiculous thing I can think of.

mypointofview · 26/09/2018 21:38

I agree with you. He's different. Hard to know if he'd be able to achieve anything as he's very untried after a lifetime in opposition. But i don't buy the anti semitic slurs and everything else they've tried to pin on him. I think he'd spend his time slogging for the under dog and trying to reduce the apartheidesque gap between rich and poor that other governments have created. No one else is going to prioritise that and it's high time someone did. There are far too many fat cats in Toryism for it to represent the little man.

mypointofview · 26/09/2018 21:40

What an odd post bluntness. Why shouldn't the OP raise this as a discussion point?

Bluntness100 · 26/09/2018 21:41

They don't need you telling them otherwise

Eh? You do understand how illogical that is? I'm not the one who started a thread spouting erroneous policies. Nor am I the one who told anyone what to think.

Seriously. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

mypointofview · 26/09/2018 21:42

Er bluntness she gave her opinion and asked others what they thought. That's how this works.

Bluntness100 · 26/09/2018 21:42

Yup, it is indeed, and everyone is able to laugh her off the stage.

That's how this works,

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 21:43

You don’t buy the anti Semitic slurs - why do you feel the voice of the Jewish community can be so easily discounted? If the black community were pointing to a problem in say the Tory party, would you not listen to them?
The consistent theme from the left over recent years has been that if an individual perceives acts or speech as racist then they are. The only ethnic minortyt this doesn’t apply to, it seems, is Jews. Applying different standards to a single ethnic group is the very definition of racism.

Fairyliz · 26/09/2018 21:46

Wow so under Tory rule we will all die, so does that mean Corbyn will keep us all alive?

Blimey where will we house all of these people when we all live for ever?

PingusPaws · 26/09/2018 21:49

@Bluntness100 and laugh you off the stage too, exit stage left, careful carrying that chip on your shoulder

OP posts:
mypointofview · 26/09/2018 21:50

Actually you weren't addressing the content, you were trying to pretend she wasn't raising a valid discussion bluntness. Which was disingenuous.

You've made your point. Any more and you'll be trying to silence someone else's opinion and close down a thread because you don't like it. And I've noticed you have high principles about bullying so use them.
