Just for fun! Aside from property/cars, whats the best thing you've purchased this year?

Mine has to be my rice cooker/steamer. Sad i know 😁

Mine is my chilly's drink bottle it keeps your drinks hot or cold and is bloody fab!!

Maelstrop · 02/09/2018 23:19

Subscription to google music. I put my phone in the car and ask for whatever music I fancy and it goes through the stereo, brilliant!

Pinklady11 · 02/09/2018 23:21

Frozen mashed potatoes. Never had it before and it’s turned my life around!

sirmione16 · 02/09/2018 23:25

Spotify subscription!! I hate radio, but also hate listening to the same cds over and over. I love suggested playlists introducing me to music I like, and playlists created for moods is ideal. It's so easy. It's perfect!

Not bought by me but for me, my heated electric throw, I've spent many a cosy evening on the sofa all toasty underneath it.

I was quite glad to see the heatwave end so I could use it again and am hoping to save a fortune on the gas bill this winter by not using the fire or central heating.

805Thistle · 02/09/2018 23:35

Proper aircon machine. Omg I love it with all of my perimenopausal hot flushing heart.

MilesHuntsWig · 02/09/2018 23:35

Vegan silver DM sandals. Awesome, just awesome.

4forkssake · 02/09/2018 23:41

USB chargeable hand held fans. Bloody brilliantly powerful on holiday in hot country. Everyone we met wanted one. If only I'd packed a suitcase full of them, I'd have been able to book another holiday.

lovelychops · 02/09/2018 23:44

Sirmione how does Spotify work I don't get it ?

Loving the sound of the heated throw too !

themagicamulet · 02/09/2018 23:46

Small silver cross body bag that goes with everything and has just enough room for cards, phone, keys and basic make-up kit. Otherwise I end up hauling a mahoosive bucket bag full of crap everywhere...

NellieBee · 02/09/2018 23:46

Ooh mine's the same as @avocadosrus - my Chilly's bottle! I nearly puked at the price but it's a miracle bottle. Bought them for the whole family now. Not an ad I promise but having icy cold drinks this summer has been amazing.

SneakyGremlins · 02/09/2018 23:49

Air fryer! Smile

thefirstmrsrochester · 02/09/2018 23:50

Dyson hairdryer. Amazing.

GoldenBuns · 02/09/2018 23:52

Amazon Firestick

Cantthinkofabloodyname · 02/09/2018 23:55

Birkenstock sandals.

fromroses · 02/09/2018 23:57

A baby wrap sling. It was £20 from Amazon and has been an absolute lifesaver for our baby who loves to scream when not directly on us.

TeaByTheSeaside · 03/09/2018 00:04

Amazon fire stick and subscription to Netflix.

MissesBloom · 03/09/2018 00:09

Definitely my Dyson v6 handheld hoover. Just makes a quick whiz around so easy. I now hoover twice a day downstairs because I love it so much and the house looks so neat and tidy all the time.

Also loving our little sonos speaker in the kitchen. Fab little thing that doesn't take up much space and the sound quality is amazing!

PawneeParksDept · 03/09/2018 00:10

Instant Pot by far

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 03/09/2018 00:14

Beautiful Sanderson's curtains for my living room. 7ft by 10 ft, a perfect fit in a lovely on trend yellow based print. They were in a local charity shop and cost £ 4.00.

Rebecca36 · 03/09/2018 01:27

A big fan, stands tall and upright (I have it on now, it's going round and round). Also bought one for my son.

ICantBelieveIDidThis · 03/09/2018 01:45

A cool bag with freezer blocks.

I wake up to a cold drink first thing, without having to leave the bedroom.

avocadosrus · 03/09/2018 07:02

Nelliebee they are so good aren't they! Mine has avocados on it Smile

penguinsnpandas · 03/09/2018 07:08

2 night stay with a lady that looks after tree kangaroos that are orphaned.

Otherwise a Leesa mattress very soft and as I am often not well I am there a lot. Cat loves it too, spends about 20 hours a day on it.

Bunnybigears · 03/09/2018 07:10

My rescue dog.
