Just for fun! Aside from property/cars, whats the best thing you've purchased this year?

Mine has to be my rice cooker/steamer. Sad i know 😁

My dog. I love her.

But if we are talking about things, it has to be my Casper mattress and pillows. No more sore back/hips/neck in the morning!

Shark vacuum as recommended by MN Smile

Millbrook mattress- no more back ache Smile

GooodMythicalMorning · 03/09/2018 23:27

My gumbies. Soooooo comfy. Will be sad when its cold and can no longer get away with flip flop. They're just brilliant as the recycled soles are grippy so if its a bit moist you dont slip at all. The toe posts are soft which is what i usually complain about as most rub but these dont.

Geekster1963 · 03/09/2018 23:40

My Oofos flip flops. So comfy to wear especially after a run.

doleritedinosaur · 03/09/2018 23:54

My birkenstocks, so comfortable.

Also Now entertainment pass for the year, all the crap tv I could ever want plus Greys over & over.

@TheOnlyLivingMumInNewCross thank you! Smile

Giggorata · 04/09/2018 08:14

My 3D pen, fantastic for my art projects.

PolkerrisBeach · 04/09/2018 08:17

A set of stainless steel food prep / mixing bowls from John Lewis. So much better than ceramic.

Methe · 04/09/2018 08:19

My log burner. I completely adore it!

dudsville · 04/09/2018 08:27

Spotify
Hairdresser hair cutting scissors
Ballerina flats (nearly 50 and haven't worn them since I was 18!)
Fresh pasta (I can now have a tasty fish or chicken pasta meal tau in 20 min!)
Loads.

AiryFairy1 · 04/09/2018 08:39

Cost a little: Bamboo toast tongs from Lakeland, a total game changer here, no more burnt fingers on bagels and DD make now make her own toast!
Cost a lot: our house, we love it so much!

One day

Where do you buy the sugar soap from?

AnnabelleLecter · 04/09/2018 09:31

Pinafore dress
Festival tickets
Lights for around the outside of the conservatory
Nunabee cushion covers
Just booked a cruise for next Winter

tapdancingmum · 04/09/2018 09:32

My Havianas - I haven't worn flip flops for years as they irritated me but saw these recommended on here so got them. Glad I did as I have worn them all summer and no blisters between the toes.

@scifi101 wilko, b and q, Homebase will all sell sugar soap.

CatherineCrewe · 04/09/2018 09:33

A huge new smart TV after years of a tiny TV. We were snobs and thought a big TV would look awful. But I bloody love it!!

HappydaysArehere · 04/09/2018 09:36

iPhone 7 Plus after only owning a basic Dora.
Fitbit charge

QueenOfMyWorld · 04/09/2018 10:47

My vax cordless hoover

DinaCaliente · 04/09/2018 11:25

USB chargeable hand held fans. Bloody brilliantly powerful on holiday in hot country. Everyone we met wanted one. If only I'd packed a suitcase full of them, I'd have been able to book another holiday.

Me too 4forkssake
Bought mine in March for my hot flushes and it has been my saviour over this hot summer. Also brilliant at festivals in hot tents.

Slurpy · 04/09/2018 11:30

My robot hoover. Lifechanging!

A little black leather rucksack from to maxx. Had been looking for one on and off for a while with minimal bling and handbag rather than day pack size and am —tight— cost conscious. £10 well spent

Member · 04/09/2018 11:44

tight

CoughingForWeeks · 04/09/2018 12:03

My fitbit and a full year's leisure centre membership. I nearly cried at shelling out so much in one hit but I use both daily and have averaged just under a stone weight loss every month since I took the plunge.
