LadyD sorry to hear RL is getting you down. I was high as a kite all of today but hit a sinking low now this evening but you're right this thread is very medicinal !

I too have to admit to loving the hobbit press conference look despite being a usual non-beard worshiper! In fact I love that whole clip with the words.... [we definitely need to campaign for a wistful emoticon just for the academy by the way!]

Haven't managed to get to the end of Marie Lloyd, but the Colonel expressed some annoyance that I had started watching it without him, so I'm going to have to watch the first part all over again, when Percy is being so lovely! The things we do to keep our husbands happy eh?!

Do you think PR would spend hours researching insurance companies getting quotes for the family cars? That so has to be on one of his attributes - I just hate it!! That's about 2 hours of my life I ain't getting back! So tempted to just take the original quote but I'm sure that's what they expect you to do and how they make their most money!!
