See we need a Tardis in the commune to cope with the kids activities hang on a minute have we agreed that children are coming with usHmm Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 10/11/2011 20:19

Oh poor Maud, we x-posted re your chest.

John Thorton's lady had a cold upon her chest
And he rubbed it with camphorated oil

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:23

I think the children will need a couple of dorms and we will need state-of-the-art security and surveillance to ensure no inappropriate interruptions. I could draw up a rota system or shall we have a team of highly qualified nannies and teachers do you think?

But what what will do with the husbands?!

Perhaps we should just keep it as a Ladies Only Retreat. Grin

Our Brown Owl is fine (I know her through work anyway), and has said exactly the same as you Maud, although given the time of year have got her the jacket too, and the GP's are paying in any case, bless them.

Have also got Vanessa the bear a pair of brown trews and a yellow t-shirt and an 'I love Brownies' badge to sew on!

BTW - I've been thinking about the Academy Commune's décor - starting with the boys' bedrooms:

Gizzy

Lucas

Porter

Standring

Mr Thornton

Whaddya think? Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 10/11/2011 20:26

Perhaps the husbands could be the not so highly qualified nannies and security for us!Grin. I don't think they'd have a problem with that do you?!Hmm. They'd get to spend quality time with their children after all!!Grin

Orf out to work - leave the light on for me will you and a comforting glass of something and someone for when I get back!!Grin

LadyDamerel · 10/11/2011 20:28

Spiro, you are missing the point of the commune in the most spectacular way Grin. As it will be filled with cloned PRs (with interchangeable wardrobe, naturally) the menfolk will be entirely superfluous to requirements!

LadyDamerel · 10/11/2011 20:29

::bagsy's Gizzy's room::

That four poster bed looks very good for tying him to comfortable.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/11/2011 20:35

ROFL @ the decors.

Mind you Gizzy's is creep-tastic, I could almost be put off bringing him his bedtime cup of cocoa, in there.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/11/2011 20:35

::Shocked that Spiro has sneaked a picture of the well-appointed boo-dwarr in which she and Mr Thornton discuss Plato::

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:35

I'm thinking of this for my room.

Subtle don't you think?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/11/2011 20:36

And Standring's looks infinitely nicer than anything on the farm!

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:37

Don't you like Gizzy's shag pad boudoir then, Massive?

I was going for contemporary with a mediaeval twist...

SupermassiveLBD · 10/11/2011 20:37

LadyD you must be made of stronger stuff than me ( yes, I know it should really be 'than I')

I was having visions of opening his wardrobe door and bats flying out.

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:38

And Standring's looks infinitely nicer than anything on the farm!

It couldn't look much worse but now I'll have to go and look at the one fleeting bedroom scene to double check

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:40

I must admit JP's is my favourite!

SupermassiveLBD · 10/11/2011 20:43

Mine is as tasteful as yours Spiro.

The boys would have to don sunglasses at the door...

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 20:52

Very 'Lady Marmalade' Massive! Wink

LadyDamerel · 10/11/2011 20:53

Massive, my attention was caught by the bed and the endless possibilities of all those large tree-trunk like posts......

LadyDamerel · 10/11/2011 20:56

I'm going for muted and understated in my own personal chamber.

DumSpiroSpero · 10/11/2011 21:03

Well I have just extensively researched said scene in Sparkhouse four times and can report that whilst the bedroom leaves a lot to be desired there are candles and also one helluva bedstead! Grin Wink

LadyDamerel · 10/11/2011 21:10

Ooh, very nice Maud. It rather reminds me of this.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/11/2011 21:14

Ha! I fell for that one.

I do hope we'll have a light and airy study, for reading and the Contemplaation of Art.

SupermassiveLBD · 10/11/2011 21:14

Can we have a games room?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 10/11/2011 21:17

::Urgent plea::

Please post lots of interesting and amusing stuff as The Bloke is watching Saving Private Ryan and people are being machine-gunned in my sitting room.

::Faints::
