I feel almost guilty! Jut finished watching Downton. The colonel went upstairs to watch match of the day but now I'm watching SB in hd!!!! Just had to turn down the noise cos the gun shots were so loud!!

HD Porter is mighty fine. I am surprising myself by quite enjoying it. There's a certain level of bRAinwashing goes on in this place methinks .

What a picky lot you are

All the bright white teeth in RH are a little incongruous, considering they almost certainly never brushed their teeth. Obviously the rest of the historical details are incredibly accurate.......

Eeectuarly, LadyD, my meticulously detailed reseearch into the subject tells me medieval folk weren't as mucky as we might think. Salt and a bit of rag, doncha know.

S2 Gizzy is lush. but the S3 one tears at my heartstrings.

I watched S2e11 earlier. Despite the fact LordD and the MasterDs were in the room, I let out a small sob when Guy unmasked Marian as the Nightwatchman. He reminds me very much of MrT and the 'He was her brother' scenario in that scene. I also nearly sobbed when he saved her and asked her to 'stay and make this place bearable.'
