Maud, even...

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 23:26

Perhaps Maud needs a soothing

::looks back at you::

Definitely not, Massive. 2.11 is the most heartstring tugging episode of all time, even more than the Guy/Meg episode and I well up every single time I watch it.

PFB, Spiro?

That riding scene is 2.10. 2.11 is the Eleanor of Aquitaine one, Treasure of the Nation. And obviously Gizzy unmasking Marian.

Then forgiving her.

::borrows Little John's quarterstaff to knock some sense into Gizzy::

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 23:30

LJ is rather, now you come to mention it, Spiro. Whinge whinge whinge. Grin

Marian lived in a dream world, I think, in love with the idea of being in lurve with her childhood sweetheart for ever more. She needed to wake up and smell the .. mulled ale, or whatever they had hot for breakfast in the years Ante Starbucks.

LadyDamerel · 06/11/2011 23:33

::looks back yet again as light finally dawns::

Petulant BIG Fu**wit, yes?

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 23:35

Yup - that's the one Lady D Grin!

Do we have any Simply Red/Gizzy fans in da house?

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 23:35

It's the wreck Gizzy becomes, that really makes me well up, LadyD. The proud knight, brought low by his Dolorous Deed, and all that. His face, in that episode where he meets Tuck. Sad

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 23:38

And in one of the ones I've watched today when he and Robin are fighting and Rob says something about him begging his forgiveness for said Deed, and he replies. "I've no need to beg your forgiveness when I can't forgive myself" or something along those lines. Sad

LadyDamerel · 06/11/2011 23:39

::stops sitting on stairs as it's very draughty and goes back to comfort of drawing room::

Marian's ghost should have gone to Guy at the very, very end. He didn't shack up with any old bird who wandered into the forest, he was loyal and faithful and he LOVED her (kebab incident notwithstanding).

I have replaced the TV ending in my head with any of the fanfic endings where Marian comes to her senses, realises Robin is a PLF, she's been a cowbag to Guy and lives happily ever after with him.

Tis much better Grin.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 23:40

I didn't dare listen to the soundtrack on that, Spiro. Great visuals, and with that song it would have been too sad for me to bear.

LadyDamerel · 06/11/2011 23:44

I've only watched S3 through the once as LordD has never seen it and we are supposed to be watching it together. I may conduct a little revision session tomorrow whilst I iron though, I'd forgotten about some of these gems.

LadyDamerel · 06/11/2011 23:46

I got a minute in with the sound and decided I couldn't go to bed with a red nose because LordD would almost certainly have me committed if I confessed I'd been sobbing at a Gizzy vid Blush.

LadyDamerel · 06/11/2011 23:47

::really going to bed now emoticon::

Night!

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 23:50

I'm inclined to think he could/should have done better than Marion tbh. I know she was his hearts desire and all that, but all she ever did was play him for her own ends and betray his trust over and over again.

He was just as mad for wanting her I think, as she was for not wanting him!

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 23:50

Bitey Knight Lady D Wink!

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 23:57

I can see why she drew him so, though, Spiro. She was courageous and spirited and very attractive.

And I think she wanted him too, though she didn't herself realise it. So he would have sensed the attraction between them.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 23:59

Um, listen up and get a grip Massive, this guy is not real remember.

DumSpiroSpero · 07/11/2011 00:02

Yes - I'm probably being a bit harsh, but it's easier to see the negative/reality as an 'outsider'

DumSpiroSpero · 07/11/2011 00:08

Right, must be off to bed - back to the old daily blahblahblah tomorrow...

Night knight all!

SupermassiveLBD · 07/11/2011 00:11

Night, Spiro, hope the old daily blahblahblah isn't too bleurgh.

SupermassiveLBD · 07/11/2011 11:20

Morning, Ladiez!

Nothing interesting to report, just now.

LadyDamerel · 07/11/2011 12:41

Nothing to report from the Priory either.

TransylvanianVampiress · 07/11/2011 12:53

Wow RL is boring today!! Actually I've got some exciting news. Are you ready??????

I've got another client!!!! Yay!!!! Only a short-term client, as she's pregnant and due tomorrow and doesn't want to go 14 days overdue this time, so she's resorting to reflexology! Not sure that's the best positive view to go into this with, but I'll give it a good go later!! Not actually heard from her today, wonder if she's gone into labour since Saturday as that's no good for my business as that would be great for her!Grin
