Shame he's only a mere 5 inches, Massive Wink.

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 00:09

His face is a bit creepy too. But his leathers are rather sweet.

::swiftly fashions 2 tinfoil hats::

Much as I'd like to stay and chat, I think I should go to bed too.

See you in the morning!

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 00:22

Sleep tight, LadyD.

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 08:00

He also has, and I quote FULLY FUNCTIONING MOVABLE PARTS.

Oh, dear - can you send a tinfoil hat this way too Lady D!

Well, we went to our friends last night - they 'do' fireworks for their family and our little gang every year so was very nice - lots of catching up over tomato soup and hotdogs and home by 8pm (unlike the old, pre DC's days which involved catching up over lashings of home brew until about 2am!).

Chores this morning...then hopefully a bit of 'me-time' this afternoon as Mr & Miss S are off to the footy.

TransylvanianVampiress · 06/11/2011 08:19

Mm lady D very comfy shoulder there I slept so well!! Thank you!!Smile Even DS didn't wake up til after 7.30 and DD not til 8!! Unheard of!!Grin

Did the high vis jacket not remind you of a certain other bright yellow jacket wearer then lady d!Grin

Maud - I too have absolutely no idea what rude joke you were thinking of - feel I must be up for innocence and naivety academy award!

Massive - nuttes et gentlemen quarterly was tres amusant!Smile

TransylvanianVampiress · 06/11/2011 08:47

Ps the Guy may well have fully functioning and used parts but his face his terrifying!!Confused

Also lady D DS has been asking for a castle/fort so I may look out for that set and finally get to play with study Guy after all!!Grin

TransylvanianVampiress · 06/11/2011 09:06

poo it's out of stock everywhere and only comes with PLFW and Marian figures Does have a sword accessory though just for massive!HmmGrin

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 15:30

Phew - I have been well and truly 'doing' RL today and now I've had enough! Grin

Time for choccie, coffee, Gizzy & laptop!

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 16:29

Phew, from me too. Not an interweb whiteout, today, just a marathon national holiday. Excuse if I am a bad student, these days.

'Snot fair, I want one of those forts. I know one or two UK shops that sell that kind of junk for saddos thing but no luck there, either.

I saw a Gizzy type on the bus, today; long wild hair, leather jacket, stubble. No thuds though. Nose and legs far, far too short of the ideal. Sad

However, while, ahem, googling for something else, I found this An idea for a Christmas gift for a significant other, perhaps?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/11/2011 16:44

::Staggers in, still wheezing and giving off a slight tang of goose grease::

Hurry, Vampy! Bidding ends soon.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/11/2011 16:46

Lots more goodies with this one

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 16:47

My MIL has something very similar Massive Shock!

Well, 2 more episodes of Season 3 down.

Loved the Gisborne-Locksley brothers all fighting together there has to be a fanfic in that somewhere! Archer was very well cast, if not the most likeable character - definitely more PFL than PDLCHMWAT.

Not at all sure the reverse love triangle thing works with Kate/Isabella/Robin - a bit naff really (not to mention unlikely), and surely given how he felt about Marion Gizzy would have had more of a reaction to Kate & Robin getting together?

Gutted about Alan dying - I liked him in weird kind of way. I couldn't watch the bit with Gizzy and the limestone so God help me when I get to the final episode.

I am very oversensitive about those type of scenes now - I really have to look away when the water-boarding scenes in Spooks and SB come on.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 06/11/2011 16:52

That coat reminds me that I've been meaning to ask Massive for a long time, seeing as she's a sci fi buff, what she thinks of The Matrix?

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 17:29

Believe it or not I've not seen The Matrix , Maud. That is quite a persuasive shot, with the Massive-approved accessory of stompy boots much to the fore. Previously, the outfit has more resembled a soutane to me.

I do like the second ebay offer; if you look carefully, you see you get a Richie too as well as a Gizzy. So you could re-enact the horseriding, with his fully functional moving parts Grin

Spiro I do empathise with your sensitivity over the sight of Our Hero in distress of any kind. I get so upset for Gizzy over the whole Marian debacle, that it's really quite silly. I mean, he's not even real

As for your MIL in that coat, it must give you the wrong sort of shivers when you see Gizzy swoosh round in his.

TransylvanianVampiress · 06/11/2011 17:51

Ooh you're all here!! Thought I was alone!!! Thanks maud. I'd looked on eBay but obviously not as well as you!! I'm watching those items now!! Just hope I can beat lady d!!GrinWink

Have to get it passed the colonel first! Think he'll notice DS unwrapping it otherwise!!Grin

Not sure that leather coat is the colonel's look especially if spiro's MIL has one!!Grin

Right time to get the little ones in bed - another weekend over! Is SB on tonight?
Miss spooks on Sundays!!Smile

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 17:51

It didn't but now you've pointed it out...

ROFL at re-enacting the scene.

Well, I've now finished RH. Was surprisingly unmoved by Gizzy's departure, although obviously thought it was beautifully acted Grin. Strangely it was only when Tuck asked Robin about Gizzy and he shook his head that I did get a little lump in my throat. Sad

SupermassiveLBD · 06/11/2011 18:13

It was when Gizzy said the word "free" that I disintegrated. The poor lamb Sad

Wasn't it odd about the PLFW and Marian's ecstatic reunion, at the end. Obviously she didn't know about Isabella and Kate, and he conveniently forgot.

PassTheTwiglets · 06/11/2011 18:16

Guess I don't need to watch the end of Robin Hood now then... :)

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 18:19

I just hope Guy got Meg on the other side - regardless of the slightly dubious age gap (well it was the 12th Century).

They missed the opportunity for an almighty showdown between RH and Giz over that if you ask me. Surely Gizzy would have gone off his head with rage? Although perhaps his guilt got the better of him.

Sorry Twigs - I did try not to put too many Giz related details in there but probably went off tangent a bit...

DumSpiroSpero · 06/11/2011 18:27

Just looking online for Christmas pressies and saw this

ROFL! Grin
