Massive, I think if there was a Layer 6 Maud would be in need of the Neutronium SFXs, that corset would be no use at all.

I am now trying extremely hard not to do a Gizzy one. My hormones couldn't take that Grin.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/09/2011 21:20

DO IT, DO IT, DO IT...

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:21

Oh, LadyD. I am passing out here at the mere thought.

LadyVenetia · 08/09/2011 21:22

Thought of what ?

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:24

Maud has gone very quiet, btw. Can someone wave the vinagrette under her nose?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:25

You see, LadyD. Mr Thornton gets his kit cravat off and Massive and Twiggy return to the Academy. He is a babe magnet, I tell you but I managed to dispose of Margaret and the even drippier Ann Latimer.

LadyDamerel · 08/09/2011 21:26

::protests::

::caves::

Oh okay.

::gets out scissors and tape::

LadyVenetia · 08/09/2011 21:26

I so need a Layer 6, 7 and 8 of that parcel....

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:26

Hello, LadyV! Grin

LadyD has just done the most brilliant post, a Mr Thornton Pass the parcel game. Now she is trying to stop herself from doing it with Gizzy. That is what I was talking about. Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:28

::whispers::

Do you think we're one of the ::winces:: cliquey and vomit-inducing threads that someone is whinging about in AIBU?

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:29

Ah, you had already noticed, LadyV. I suppose it does take a while for the messenger pigeon to get over from the Island to you.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/09/2011 21:30

Maud, I wondered the same thing this afternoon! I CBA to read the whole thtread but thoguht I might do a search...

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:31

How can we be cliquey, though? We accept anybody here with open arms.

And if we seem a trifle obsure at times, all they have to do is ask.

Okay, anybody reading this, and wondering?

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:35

Psst... LadyD, why don't you try JP and Lucas, afterwards?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:36

I haven't read the whole thread, either (it's about 40 pages now, I think) but it's often the tea rooms (which |I always thought were pretty blameless) and the like that attract the flak. Apparently there's an unwritten rule that you mustn't 'speak' to the same person more than twice, or summat.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:39

Isn't the problem, Massive, that it's hard to find a picture of JP with all his clothes on?

::Too cold for that in Milton Northern emoticon::

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:40

But what skin is it off their noses, if a group of nutters like-minded ladies -rave on chat away in a quiet corner. As long as we don't do it in the street and frighten the horses, after all.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/09/2011 21:42

why don't you try JP and Lucas?

Now there's a pleasant way to pass a rainy afternoon...

SupermassiveLBD · 08/09/2011 21:42
PassTheTwiglets · 08/09/2011 21:43

Anybody watching BB? Nice tune on at the mo... :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:43

That's what I've never understood when people complain about the various tea rooms. If you don't like the look of them, don't go in them. And hide them. Problem solved.

PassTheTwiglets · 08/09/2011 21:44

I think it's when the in-jokes spill over onto other threads that people get narked...

LadyVenetia · 08/09/2011 21:44

You mean JT with all his clothes off, surely, Maud...?

shaking uncontrollably whilst the vision of a naked Mr Thornton races through my mind

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 08/09/2011 21:46

No, Twiggy (are you feeling better, by the way?) I'm watching The Story of British Pathe. What was the choon? Might we, ahem, recognise it?

LadyVenetia · 08/09/2011 21:46

We're watching Torchwood
