I'm still haunted by some of fedora lady's more weird and wonderful offerings that I was perusing the other week, Lady D.

Night Maud - let us know which (k)night is to be party night!

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 23:50

An embarrassment of riches, you might call them, Spiro. Blush

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 23:51

Night night to Maud from me too. Must be heading on up myself

Perchance to dReAm...

Goodnight all.

DumSpiroSpero · 04/09/2011 23:53
Hmm

I must away as well. Start of a long week tomorrow - bleeuuurgh!

Organisation and routine are vital during term-time and for me they are probably the most aggravating words in the English language!

::Pauses mid-slurp::

Would Wednesday be convenient? I will be At Home then. Dress fancy and bring your dancing slippers.

::Leaves an engraved invitation with your butler::

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 23:54

Night Maud. I hope MrT's madeira doesn't make him too excitable.

I haven't yet read any of FedoraLady's writings. Is she the Highwayman writer andpleasecanIhavethelinktothatifsheisorevenifsheisn't?

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 23:56

::checks Nurse is available to attend to the progeny::

::sends Ribble over with acceptance card::

Night all.

DumSpiroSpero · 05/09/2011 00:03

Link to Highwayman fic by Fedoralady

Wednesday is fine by me, Maud.

Lady D - Ribble?

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 05/09/2011 00:10

Ribble the butler bears very little similarity to the fluffy orange egg, Spiro!

Thank you for the link. That's Tues-Fri's entertainment sorted whilst I am home alone.

Right, two days left of holiday and determined to pack everything in so kick me off here if you see me during the day.

Wednesday good for me!

LadyD, so what did you think of Chapter 9? :)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/09/2011 12:37

Busy day here too, but I am gathering some ideas for the planting scheme for The Priory.

LadyDamerel · 05/09/2011 13:18

Maud, that looks charming - exactly what I had in mind.

Are you all aware that the Rugby World Cup starts on Saturday and is being held in New Zealand? I wonder if there will be a certain Bearded Man to be spotted in the crowds........

LadyDamerel · 05/09/2011 13:25

Please could you incorporate some of these rather beautiful blooms too?

SupermassiveLBD · 05/09/2011 15:07

Wednesday is fine for me too.

I have been busy today too, but I did manage to sneak a couple of hours first thing with my own dear delight. The one with the necklace, FAF and glove-bitey knight and so many swoonsome things said to the Stupid Girl. Remembering his mummy, and all. Ahhh!

Gizzy, there are others who would like to be kind to you too. Very kind Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 05/09/2011 15:11

All this talk of gardens, excavations and New Zealand has just reminded me of a time when I was little and tried to dig a hole in the garden that would go right through to Australia.

Do you think that would work, LadyD?

PassTheTwiglets · 05/09/2011 16:34

What about some nice, soft, round fruit for the garden, too?

PassTheTwiglets · 05/09/2011 16:34

Ha ha, made you look :o

SupermassiveLBD · 05/09/2011 16:36

OK, Twigs. I'll bite.

PassTheTwiglets · 05/09/2011 16:40

:o @ Massive

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/09/2011 17:56

::staggers in::

Shopping .... for school shoes .... in three different shops.

::swigs Polish cordial straight from the bottle::

Keep the gardening ideas coming in. I will include an orchard and some herbaceous perennials.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 05/09/2011 20:12

Let us pause to remember that dear Freddie would have been 65 today. .

LadyDamerel · 05/09/2011 20:20

Is the bearded wonder included with the perennials, Maud? If he is then I'd prefer a herbaceous like this.

And perhaps some hedging to add height.

The lawn is around this size, for reference.

LadyDamerel · 05/09/2011 20:22

MasterD1 loves Queen, and that song in particular. Apparently Freddy's mum is going to be on The One Show this week.
