Squeeze are fabulous, Twiggy. Take Me I'm Yours seems to convey a certain ::ahem:: sentiment around here, but . And I have quite a pash for Jools, too.

::South London solidarity::

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 22:18

::pokes head out of shower cubicle::

LordD is away Tuesday to Friday this week, he has business to attend to.

I may have to learn how to use iMovie while he is not here, just so I can use that song.

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 22:23

i see what you mean, about the look. Bad things is pretty inspirational too.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 22:23

::nervous::

I wondered whether anyone might care to attend a sedate and refined little party, later this week? I was planning to ask Dixon to make some canapes and then we could have a schooner of madeira and play canasta.

DumSpiroSpero · 04/09/2011 22:24

I definitely like it rough! Especially that look at 3.06 (I think it's at Meg) which is a mixture of sweet and dangerous..THUD!

It's absolute torture for me at the moment as I want to watch them in order and am only on disc 3 of series 1 but S3 Gizzy is the one that really does it for me.

Maud - have you seen Jools live? He's on near us in the run up to Christmas virtually every year and we went 2 or 3 times pre-parenthood. The atmosphere was brilliant.

Party sounds lovely Maud Smile.

not entirely sure we're capable of sedate and refined though Confused

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 22:28

Yes, Spiro. We saw him a couple of years ago. We had seats behind the band and it was utterly fabtastic - danced all night. I'd go again if I could get my act together and notice gigs before they happen!

DumSpiroSpero · 04/09/2011 22:31

I remember on one occasion when we saw him, he stood up and very solemnly gave us all 'permission to boogie' Grin

He was supported by - kind of appropriate in the light of all the recent Gizzy-lusting!

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 22:33

I saw Jools live too, about a hundred years ago. Absolutely amazing.

I would like to attend your little soiree, Maud, although you may have to issue a ban on black leather clad, long haired lovelies if you want it to remain sedate and refined.

Especially if the rumours about strip canasta are true

Massive, can you pick me up some new undergarments too, while you're there? The flameproof variety, if possible. TIA.

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 22:38

Grin at Squeeze's supporting act. I was just checking out those smiles of his in I Like it Rough

Talk about shot through the heart. Zap! Grin

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 22:39

I've just remembered that we've seen him twice. .

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 22:40

Wilco, ladyD. I usually go for the multipaks. I get through a lot, you see. That all right for you?

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 22:41

3:06 is just

::speechless::

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 22:42

I have to say, I don't get Sting, one bit.

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 22:44

If we are going to continue the Gizzy obsessing love in I will need several multi packs, yes. Please make sure they are Teflon lined though, the drawing room sofa is looking a little singed in places.

On the other hand, I do get that very naughty smile right at the end of ILIR. Blush

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 22:49

Sting just always makes me think of .

::completelyobsessed (where is the hash symbol on a Mac, btw?)

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 22:58

Oh my. Pogonophilia a gogo.

The thing about Mr Sting (and others) I feel is that they gain from proximity to the blessed Jools.

SupermassiveLBD · 04/09/2011 23:01

He reminds me of Max Branning off EastEnders, you see. And vice versa.

The vicar's hubby looked rather a dish, from the brief glimpse I got of him Wink Lucky Mrs Sting.

LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 23:02

Pognophobia for me. Try as I might, I just can't see any good in The Beard.

However, the year he had the longer hair was rather lovely.

I do like a Man in black tie.

DumSpiroSpero · 04/09/2011 23:04

Surely this can convince you of beard appeal, Lady D?

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 04/09/2011 23:07

Oh that reminds me. I was mooching through some of the fan fics on Wattpad last night and stumbled across a VoD one. Partway through it Geraldine and Alice were discussing Gizzy then Geraldine persuaded Harry to don some Gizzy-esque leather trousers.

Harry in Gizzy's leathers, what a juxtaposition.

::died and gone to heaven::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 23:08

How long is it since you last had your eyes tested, LadyD?

Ah yes, black tie.

::laments show long it is since she and the Bloke went to a black tie dinner::

::remembers she went to one in February::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 04/09/2011 23:08

::rendered speechless by Spiro's pic::
