ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 22:57

Get Carter? I got Carter.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:07

I alway thought Carter looked so familiar, Maud, but I am still none the wiser Confused

No, it didn't help me much either. I saw Housewife 49 and so would have caught him in that, but otherwise I don't think I've seen him in anything other than RH. But at least we've now got a name to go with the face.

Wine? It's been that kind of week.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:17

Don't mind if do. Your very good health Wine

Though I really mustn't grumble, it was not a bad week for me.

LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:21

I've finished mine but Wine, cheers!

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:27

Virtual Gizzy never finishes though, LadyD. The same goes for the Polish Cordial.

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:28

And the bonus of the virtual variety is the lack of hangover!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:29

::clinks virtual Wine glasses with Massive and LadyD::

Will LordD be sober enough to drive the digger tomorrow? Or perhaps he could just supervise while that nice Mr Humphrey Repton carries out the work.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:33

Oh blimey, I had forgotten the estate alterations. Can you be done for being drunk in charge of a digger? Shock

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:36

You can be done for being drunk in charge of a ride-on lawnmower if you take it out onto the street.

::avid reader of local newspapers emoticon::

I'm watching The Gods of 70s Romance (or whatever it's called) and guess who's on now? .

LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:38

LordD had jolly well better be sober enough to drive the digger tomorrow, Maud.

I am envisaging a comfortable cose with Mr Repton in the morning room to finalise the planting design.

LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:41

I don't think the avenue is designated a public road so he should be okay.

I bet the video on your version aren't quite as pleasing as those in that link, Maud!

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:42

Ah, the BWWMD, it's ages since i'd seen that.

LadyD, you may need to furnish yourself with a nice stiff drink before opening that link, or your ovaries will blast off, reach escape velocity and head on out of the solar system altogether.

To boldly go and all that Wink

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:44

Too late, Massive. If you look up now you'll probably see them passing through the stratosphere.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:48

Oh, look, shooting stars. Make a wish everyone.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:48

I cannot think what you mean, LadyD

::gibbers::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:50

::wonders::

Is that a meteorite shower or the massed ovaries of a thousand Academicians and associated lurkers hurtling towards the skies?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:53

Argh. Massive said it first.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:54

Uh, Houston, we have a problem.

OP posts:
SupermassiveLBD · 26/08/2011 23:56

Did we really dream up the same drivel have the same witty thought, Maudie? Blush

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:57

Oh no! They're being drawn inexorably into a .

LadyDamerel · 26/08/2011 23:58

Oh it's so pretty, the massed ovaries hurtling spacewards.

::watches admiringly::

It's a good job I've finished with mine.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/08/2011 23:58

You've taken your tinfoil hat off, haven't you, Massive? I am reading your thoughts.

SupermassiveLBD · 27/08/2011 00:05

Gol-darn it, I thought it'd be okay to pop it off it for a minute, I get so hot, wearing it, at times.
Especially in the daytime, when the rays of the sun are reflected from it in more than oriental splendour.
