Maybe they took them to the wallpaper shop to match up patterns, Maud.

PassTheTwiglets · 28/07/2011 21:06

oh go on then, here they are....

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 21:11

Foiled again, eh, Twigster? Never mind, here you go. Wine

PassTheTwiglets · 28/07/2011 21:26

At cinema... crossing fingers for CA trailer!

PassTheTwiglets · 28/07/2011 21:28

And when did Boadicea become Boudicca? She's a local gal, y'know...

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 21:33

We didn't get a CA trailer when we saw Harry Potter, although there was a nanosecond of it in the montage of forthcoming summer attractions.

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 21:34

Oh I dunno, Tthat name-change occured sometime between my Children's Historical Encyclopedia and trendy Timewatch type programs on telly.

Good luck with the trailer, Alpha Two. I loved all Lady D's mission updates, yesterday, they were hilarious. Sending ourselves up like this is one of my favourite things about the Academy.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 21:36

O Captain! My captain! With apologies to Walt Whitman.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 21:39

Have you seen this, Massive? Could it be of interest/use?

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 21:43

NOW I remember who he reminds me of, there, Maud. Captain Birdseye!

I was going to offer to fall on my sword now, but I know you know I'd enjoy that too much Shock

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 21:50

I just caught the tail-end of an item on BBC World about that, and wondered about it,. Thanks, Maud. Could be good if I had an iPad. Which I am not at all interested in acquiring, TBH.

Maybe they will get round to extending it to a normal PC.

Gizzy is back on our telly on Saturday evenings, btw Just when I won't have a snowball's of watching him. The trailers they are showing are all of the PLFW. Angry At least I have the DVDs I suppose.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 21:52

Oh for Heaven's sake, woman. Here I am, trying to help you by bringing news of the BBC's latest wheeze to make a fortune share British culture with the world, and that's how you repay me?

::sheds a tear, which Mr Thornton wipes away with his manly handkerchief::

::swoons gratefully on Mr Thornton's broad and solid chest::

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 22:05

I did offer to fall on my sword

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 22:09

But that wasn't exactly the self-denying act of sacrifice which the expression usually signifies, was it?

::raises eyebrow quizzically::

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 22:15

Ah, Maud, you know me and my lttle foibles only too well. Blush

He doesn't look a bit like Captain Birdseye, really.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 22:19

No, he certainly does not. Nor (as far as I know) does he have a wooden leg.

::worries that this will set Twiggy off again::

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 22:33

Or am I confusing Captains Birdseye and Ahab? Anyway, am orf to bed.

Nighty, bighty knight!

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 22:34

Talking of Alpha Two, I wonder how her mission is getting on.

SupermassiveLBD · 28/07/2011 22:36

Ah, good idea. I must rise with the dawn again myself. Sweet dReAms, Maudie.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 28/07/2011 22:40

Whoosh! That was the sound of the hoary old joke mercifully going straight over my head.

DumSpiroSpero · 28/07/2011 23:10

Finally finished my wallpapering - can we go with paint for our new common room Grin!

PassTheTwiglets · 29/07/2011 00:26

Alpha Two checking in. Operation Potter was a negative, I repeat a negative. Alpha Two should also not have booked a showing which finished at midnight as am almost falling asleep on stakeout. Alpha Two over and out

PassTheTwiglets · 29/07/2011 08:57

Morning all!! I am off for a day in London... wait for it... ALL BY MYSELF!!!

Have a lovely day, everyone - I certainly will :)

DumSpiroSpero · 29/07/2011 09:30

Have a great day Twigs.

Finished trimming the paper this morning - leaving Mr S to do the painting while me & Miss S go.out with friends for the day Grin.

SupermassiveLBD · 29/07/2011 18:49

Poor Uzi the Puzi has been sadly neglected today

Hope everyone had a better day than me. Nothing traumatic, just a little too much RL.

Twigs and Spiro, hope you had a great time on your outings.
