Night Lady D - and Maud if you're still around. I'm off to bed too.

I am taking the arrests and injunctions as read, LadyDamerel, irrespective of who might be seen in the vicinity of a flowerpot. And did you notice the forearms, by the way?

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 01/08/2011 23:48

Ooops. Slow to post. LadyDamerel had indeed noticed the lovely forearms. Looks like I'm on my own now.

Well Hellllooo Georgie boy. Very nice to see you.

We seem to share very similar taste in men, Maud. Mr Clooney was a huge crush of mine in his ER days.

Morning everyone. Spiro, thank you so much for finding that out about the cinema. All I could see was far-away places like Islington, Fulham etc. so well done you. Here, have this award I think you are right about nobody wanting to see it in 2D on a weekday afternoon so I'm sure we'll be fine. Yes, I have booked the restaurant for 1230pm. Does everybody know where it is? PM me if not. Plan will be to meet outside at 1220-1230. Can somebody else claim and print out a 2 for 1 voucher? I'll bring one with me but if someone else brings one then we can get 2 meals for free. I will PM the link.

Maudie, talk about Gorgeous George, what a fantastic photo! He really looks good with grey hair, I think. Funny how it really suits some people and just makes others look old - DrTwigs is grey (it happened about 20 minutes after meeting me :o) and I think it looks great on him.

PassTheTwiglets · 02/08/2011 09:41

Right, I have PM'd you all the necessary details and I am now off out for the day (making clay cups and then going to the beach). If anybody has any questions or needs to check anything then PM me and I will reply tonight.

Havbe a good day, ladies!

DumSpiroSpero · 02/08/2011 09:42

Never mind the award Twigs - I'll take the presenter!

PM me the voucher link and I'll make sure I bring one with me.

George Clooney does nothing for me...I have tried and tried to 'get it' but nothing doing. I think his nose is probably too small!

LadyDamerel · 02/08/2011 09:56

Arf @ 'nose is too small', Spiro.

I think it's a good job you've stepped away from the showbiz side of work - I don't think it would go down that well if you hefted the award giver over your shoulder and marched off stage with him Grin.

LadyDamerel · 02/08/2011 09:57

Oops, a bit post-happy there. Meant to add, off out all day to sort all the last minute bits and pieces we need for the camping trip next week.

Oh joy.

See you all later...

Mr S has just stumbled across 'Plunkett & McClean' on some random film channel - enough to put you off highwaymen for life (almost Wink).

Ironically they ate just about to hang a Lord Pelham.

TheSmallPrint · 02/08/2011 14:09

you sound like you are watching closely Spiro Grin. Speaking of highway men, have there been any new installments?

A bit of both, Small. That has cheered me up nicely though. Smile

::staggers in::

Yes, Twiggy and LadyDamerel, I had almost forgotten, until I watched Out Of Sight again last night, quite how jaw-droppingly handsome Mr Clooney is. That pic is an especial joy - I hadn't seen it before. Short grey hair + beard = swoon to the power of n.

::collapses on the Aubusson::

::not before making Spiro an appointment at Specsavers::

DumSpiroSpero · 02/08/2011 16:38

Short grey hair + beard = swoon to the power of n.

Weirdly, I find F1 boss Eddie Jordan quite compelling, but I think that's a case of short grey hair + beard x Irish accent!

Small I will look forward to viewing that link later - am on phone at the mo.

SupermassiveLBD · 02/08/2011 17:05

Arrgh, Small. Good job the computer was muted. That was quite a fillip to my flagging spirits, too Smile

LadyDamerel · 02/08/2011 18:06

Spiro, your LoL never ceases to astound me. It's a very eclectic selection, isn't it? Grin

Massive, you found the mute button then?

OP posts:
LadyDamerel · 02/08/2011 18:08

Hang on a minute......

George Clooney is NOT on the LoL but Eddie Jordan is?

What is wrong with you, woman?

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 02/08/2011 18:14

You and I are definitely on the same wavelength, LadyDamerel. Preferring Eddie ::disbelief:: Jordan to the divine Mr Clooney?

::re-books Spiro's appointment at Specsavers::

DumSpiroSpero · 02/08/2011 18:20

I didn't say I fancied EJ as such, just that there is something compelling about him (another one with a slightly quirky nose!). In abstract obviously I can see what women like about GC, but he tbh he strikes me as a bit of a Himbo (feel free to correct me if there's evidence to the contrary - obviously I don't read/watch anything much about him).

LadyDamerel · 02/08/2011 18:22

::backs away from clearly deluded Spiro::
