Margaret Hale Academy of Tea-Pouring & Wallpaper Selection at the University of Milton Northern

Welcome to our new common room which, as you would expect, is decorated in impeccable taste (despite the limited choice of wallpapers available in Milton Northern). Above the marble mantelpiece hangs a portrait of the Vice-Chancellor of the University. As we recline elegantly on the chaise longue, we partake of tea and ratafia biscuits and discuss the works of Plato, although in the evening the finest wines and Polish cordials may be served.

Those gloves of his in that last picture look as if he's taken them off too many times, Maud as the ends of the fingers are completely missing now.

And that last Gizzy pic was beyond divine, Maud. I won't be quite right all evening now.

Talk about I shall just have to devour one of those choc muffins as a consolation prize

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/06/2011 17:55

I admit I am preening over my two recent discoveries of Whistler's Mother and the knight at asms, alone and darkly loitering.

I did wonder in that last one whether JP might have borrowed the gloves, though.

Do I dare crank up the zoom-ometer, I wonder? No, that would be just too much.

I have to say Lucas looks rather toothsome in his portrait, too.

ROFL at the previous owner of the gloves.

TheSmallPrint · 20/06/2011 20:36

Wine, I need wine!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/06/2011 20:37

Proffers Wine to desperate Small.

DumSpiroSpero · 20/06/2011 21:08

Loitering Gizzy...thud!

As for JP...I am supposed to be getting on with my novel, but thanks to Massive I had an idea for a Porter fanfic over the weekend and have spent every spare minute of the last 48 hours researching & mentally drafting the first chapter instead.

I have Polish Cordial on standby Small (hic!)

SupermassiveLBD · 20/06/2011 22:05

Spiro I do apologise about Porter, I didn't meant to, honest, guv.
Researching that must have been a weary dreary irksome task and all. Wink

Sorry I keep disappearing, my router is having hissy fits., a cause de chaleur.

Looking at lusciously loitering Gizzy, i know how it feels

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 20/06/2011 22:29

And speaking as we were of what's hot and what's not, I bring you this.

I need an early night so will bid you all adieu.

You are determined to reduce me to a puddle of drool today Maud, I can tell.
Those sideburns... they should be illegal!

All I can say to you is TSWF nighty nighty.

Oh, and thank you of course for the pix.

DumSpiroSpero · 20/06/2011 22:42

I'm particularly liking the Guyliner on zoom!

Night night Maud!

TheSmallPrint · 20/06/2011 23:16

Oh has everyone gone? I've only just finished work Sad

Never mind, I'll try and catch you all tomorrow. Night night.

SupermassiveLBD · 21/06/2011 17:02

Fingers duly crossed for all chez Spiro.

I loved Twiggy's Mr Men game yesterday but didn't have time to contribute. However, here's a few that I prepared later.

Mr Happy

Mr Messy

Mr Snow

Mr Grumpy

Little Miss Naughty

TheSmallPrint · 21/06/2011 17:04

Mr Cool

DumSpiroSpero · 21/06/2011 17:15

Very fetching Mr Men there.

Mr Carnivore Spiro has just peered into the saucepan and said "Veggie lasagne?" I don't think he's terribly impressed.

Oh well...

SupermassiveLBD · 21/06/2011 17:15

Nice one Small Grin
