Welcome to our new common room which, as you would expect, is decorated in impeccable taste (despite the limited choice of wallpapers available in Milton Northern). Above the marble mantelpiece hangs a portrait of the Vice-Chancellor of the University. As we recline elegantly on the chaise longue, we partake of tea and ratafia biscuits and discuss the works of Plato, although in the evening the finest wines and Polish cordials may be served.

That song was made for Gizzy! Had to laugh at the scene where he and PLF were having a punch-up...he looked like he could breathe on Robin and snap him in half.

As for the bit where he's tied to a tree - I could think of much better uses for that knife Wink!

It looks to me like a good match between song and visuals. I await Massive's verdict.

Oh, wooft, MN ate my post.
I was trying to say I chose the song precisely because it reminded me of Gizzy. i didn't realise some enterprising soul had actually married song and pictures. Grin

Whatever can Spiro mean by showing me that other song? As if I am always thinking of Gizzy. As if! Wink

DumSpiroSpero · 25/06/2011 23:26

I was referring to your current weather conditions, Massive, although I do rather like this particular lyric:

"And we will snuggle up in the back seat...making up for lost time" Grin

SupermassiveLBD · 25/06/2011 23:28

Loved the Dr Who pitch vid, though I am not sure I would really like to see him in the role just for the sake of his being on TV every week at Saturday teatime.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 25/06/2011 23:32

It's amazing the combinations you can find - I didn't really expect to find anything for the PSBs. So I thought I'd put it to the text and see how many other ::ahem:: novel pairings one might find. Nothing for Abba but one for the Rolling Stones.

I wasn't being rude, honest, my computer is feeling the heat, too. Thanks for that vid ,Maud, some nice shots I agree but unfinished perahps.

SupermassiveLBD · 25/06/2011 23:59

Spiro I think we were talking at cross purposes over your last YT link, apolgies for that too.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/06/2011 00:01

G'night Maud. Am having to pay attention to SB at the mo.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/06/2011 00:01

I didn't think you were rude, just (perhaps) rendered speechless, gazing at Guy. Very strange how it just ends after about 90 seconds, though. Anyway, must away.

And so to bed

To bed to bed said Sleepyhead.
Tarry a while said Slow...

Nighty night Maud, see you tomorrow

Oh, and Guy was quite lovely, so worth a watch even with the abrupt ending.

SupermassiveLBD · 26/06/2011 00:12

Spiro, I must go too. Hope the writing and everything go well, oh, and love to JP Wink

SupermassiveLBD · 26/06/2011 13:55

Wake up, sleepy head

This means you, too, my lord

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/06/2011 14:17

What well-manicured hands you have, Massive.

OP posts:
ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/06/2011 14:20

How delicious! Thank you, Massive. I wasn't aware that twiglets were a staple of island cuisine.

Hah hah, Maud,I wish. Not after I have been peeling the spuds etc etc Those hands must belong to his other floozy.

I had the house to myself this morning, so I spent it watching him die. He does it so beautifully.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 26/06/2011 15:11

Yes, it is a very beautiful and graceful death, I think. We should write an essay about the themes of grace and repentance therein.

Or we could just watch it and go 'phwoar'.

DumSpiroSpero · 26/06/2011 16:03

Sleepy Gizzy is aboRAble!

DumSpiroSpero · 26/06/2011 16:03

That should be adoRAble obviously!

Half asleep and not proof reading...

PasstheTwiglets · 26/06/2011 16:28

Oh I don't know Spiro, aborable would be the perfect word for this :)
