Of course, I am violently allergic to cats...

The only picture we have of the Dean is not overly flattering but in my head he looks a little more like this

Come in, enjoy, help yourself to Twiglets.
Yours sincerely, a Fair Trespasser.

As you know, Massive, I'm always ready to help a friend.

::Noble self-sacrifice::

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 20:05

No you're not wrong Maud, I see now that It was not that you liked it yourself but that you were performing a perfectly selfless task.Wink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 20:14

Indeed I was, Small.

::Polishes halo::

My own tastes tend more towards the Victorian

hmm mine tend to be early 16th Century

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 21:07

What think you of the latter half of the 16th century, then?

::Earnest historical discussion ensues::

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 21:15

Your wish is my command, Maid. For your delectation,

And for the PSM aficionadas, You have never seens him so thudworthy. Okay, you have, but you get the idea.

and here is our whom we wish would lay down his arms and surrender to ours
Health Warning; This vid contains big guns but there is, on the other hand, mucho throat-kisssing

Where isthe other one, do you ask?sorry laidez, he's busy...

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 21:16

Maud, I meant. Sorry!

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 21:28

Mr .... Thornton .... talking Italian .... Venite a casa con me?

::Lost to all reason::

I had to bale* out of the Porter video. Too many flying bullets. And quite a few other detonations.

  • Or is it bail? I'm never sure.
SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 21:36

I thought the subtitles would titleate you Maud.
According to thesaurus.com. to bail is to remove water from a boat by filling a container and emptying it over the side; to bale is wrap or make into bundles

and bale as verb
Definition: scoop, ladle
Synonyms: bail, bale, bucket, decant, dish, draft off, draw, draw out, dredge, handle, lade, lift, offer, reach into, shovel, spoon, strain

So it would seem it could be either bail or bale in your case, Maud. Strange...

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 21:37

Seems to cotradict itself...

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 21:44

Maud, late 16th C works well for me also.

Massive I cannot open those and am terribly frustrated as the descriptions are so tempting .

I've always used bail as in getting bailed from custody.

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 21:51

Are you on the phone then, Small? Are piccies okay for you? If so I will hunt some up specially for you

No one else sholuld peek, okay?

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 21:57

Yes I'm on the phone but also sat next to Mr Small who probably wouldn't have appreciated the sounds. Pics are perfect and I can zoom!!

PasstheTwiglets · 18/05/2011 21:59

Whilst we're on the subject, the one I never know is whether you say "here here" of "hear hear" when yo uagree with somebody. Both make sense - "This person here agrees with you" or "I hear what you are saying and agree".

Massive, what a beautiful vid of our PSM - oh but his little smile at 1'17!

does anybody here watch Glee? I have been in heaven tonight as they did Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album.

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 22:05

Massive they are swoonsome but soldier boy is really doing it for me at the moment! Do you think they deliberately put him in super clingy clothes for us ladeez to get all hormonal about?

How long will the other one be busy for exactly?

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 22:08

I would say hear hear Twigs. Unlike glee but only seem to catch by accident on a Sunday.

Please don't taunt me with smiles when icant get in to them.

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 22:08

Heh, look at you losers strutting your stuff to amuse the ladiez, while I just kick back and enjoy a quiet drink

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 22:11

I've always thought it was bail as in bailing a boat, but thought that looked wrong so decided to experiment today with bale. And that looked wrong, too. Ho hum. The shout of agreement is "hear, hear", Twiggy.

I always mean to watch Glee but hardly ever do - Bloke isn't keen and we're generally watching some cRAp on Dave while I MN conduct important historical and dramatic research in prepaRAtion for writing my thesis. I used to love Fleetwood Mac.

SupermassiveLBD · 18/05/2011 22:12

Gizzy, when will you stop being bizzy?

GO...AWAY!!

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 22:14

Gizzy, don't pretend that you don't flaunt your chesticles for the benefit of the maids.

ComeIntoTheGardenMaud · 18/05/2011 22:17

You shouldn't talk to Guy like that, Massive. He's looking rather grumpy now.

TheSmallPrint · 18/05/2011 22:18

And stop being so moody not really we love the mean n moody attitude
